This is the Recording Studio version not the Pro Studio version. Recording Studio is Green, Pro Studio is Red.

There are a few features missing like stem separation and audio to midi conversion, and a few plugins that are not included as well. But on the whole, it's still a pretty good DAW that is under-rated in my opinion. See the differences here:

You can buy old Mixcraft Recording Studio second hand on Knob Cloud for like 10 bucks or less, then when there is a sale on, you can update to the full Pro Studio and that should cost about 30/40 bucks to get the very latest and up to date program. All legit.

I've not seen a full Pro Version yet, probably because of all the extra plugins that are bundled, that you then need to download and make accounts for on various websites like Cherry Audio, so if you don't have a legit serial code, it's pretty much impossible. That is why I think only this version of the program has been cracked so far.

Keep an eye out on Knobcloud for second hand licenses and then use that to upgrade. There are a few flying about now and again because this program was included in several Humble Bundle deals and quite frankly not everyone is interested in it and if they can sell it for 5-10 bucks, they are happy. I paid about 50 bucks or less to get the legit full Pro version.

It's a really great DAW and works very well. The included loop library is varied and well done. It's also easy to drag and drop the loops in to your DAW and they auto time stretch for you, so it's very easy to experiment and come up wit new ideas. The included plugins are nice to have, but they aren't anything to get too excited over, but it's still good to have them in the full program. The only problem with this program is rendering out loops as it takes a slightly different approach to most DAWs, and can be a pain to get your head around. But if you do a search you will be able to figure it out - that's the only criticism I have of this program.

Having said all that, Mixcraft sometimes do sales, and either of these versions of this DAW are worth picking up when you can get that discount. I use Cubase and Ableton and Studio One, but I still fire Mixcraft up sometimes just for fun to create some different loops/samples than I otherwise would, because as I said, the included library has some very interesting stuff in there.

Even the Recording Studio version here has thousands of loops and samples included, so you can play about with this feature right now with this. It's one of its strongest points to me and what makes this program so unique and fun to use (not to mention very quick to operate).

EDIT: The above description is misleading as it is for the Pro version. Please see the comparison chart I linked earlier above to see what you really get with this Recording version.

thank you very much for your kind answer and all the information mentioned. I have been using the Pro Studio v.9 version for a long time that suits me very well but obviously the Pro Studio version 10 interests me and I would like to test it before changing. So I'll wait.

Still only stem mix down working. Anyone know how to get mp3 ogg wma wav flac mp4 avi or wmv mix down working? Same problem with all mixcraft 10. This was never a problem
with mixcraft 9.
