VSM IV – THE SOUNDS FROM 46 CLASSIC AND RARE STRING MACHINES
The organic-sounding Virtual String Machine (VSM) is an intuitive yet highly powerful string machine synthesiser that’s the perfect solution for creating the sound bed of your next track.

It contains a wealth of sounds from 46 classic and rare machines. Those sounds can be combined using two layers, allowing for a unique fusion of instruments made exclusively possible by VSM.

VSM comes with 1900+ presets, including 200+ new patches and over 11.5 GB of data, enabling you to craft your own unique synthetic strings.

WHAT’S NEW IN VSM IV?
VSM IV introduces new features that elevate the user experience and expand your creative possibilities.

VSM IV has a fully scalable UI. The new powerful Patch and Instrument Browsers empower effortless navigation through the extensive library of more than 1900 patches, ensuring quick access to the perfect sound. Take advantage of new functions like Undo, Redo, Copy, and Paste, ensuring seamless editing and flexible experimentation.

Experience authentic ageing with the new Wow and Flutter features, augmenting the organic imperfections that give these vintage instruments their unique charm. Introducing an alternative state-variable filter and ensemble effect, new LFO shaping possibilities, a chorus, and a matrix reverb adds further depth and character to your sound. The expanded Poly Aftertouch and Velocity controls offer enhanced playability and expressiveness.

With these remarkable new features, VSM IV empowers you to create the perfect sound bed for your next track.

Thanks! I note the sample library is only 448 meg in size not 11.5gig.
Site notes: The trial version of VSM IV is an ideal way to test the instrument on your system before purchase. The demo includes a very limited set of instruments and presets to minimise the size of the download.

THIS release doesn't include the 11.5GB sample library, but there is one...
There is no knowledge that is not power.

For those with Library issues first download the full Library
'GForce Virtual String Machine Library v3.0.0-R2R' from here:
https://audioz.download/samples/168071-download_gforce-virtual-string-machine-library-v300-r2r.html
(rapidgator links are all ok under the first link)
Please note: this is for adding Libraries but will help you sort this out with having no instructions with this Download so you can see where Libraries are stored.
1. Run VSM IV and Open the Preset/Patch Browser ||\ <--- (this icon top middle/slightly left).
2. Click on the folder icon to the left of Collection under both the GF. to view the Collection Management Screen and see all the Library Paths
2b. (Added by me) Take note of the 'Library Directory' location (3rd down):
C:\ProgramData\GForce\VSM IV\String Machine Library
and copy your large library String Machine Library (Folder) to that location.
Close and Restart
2c. Open the Preset/Patch Browser ||\ again <--- (this icon top middle/slightly left)
2d Click on the Refresh Icon (two arrow running anti-clockwise) to the right of Collection and all the Presets should appear (Thanks to mister BEE) and click CLOSE further down (top middle of piano keyboard)
and that's it
Click in the LAYER A to select Presets or/and LAYER B to layer more strings
Please note: (Only continue to Step 3 if adding other Libraries)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Click the import button (only if importing libraries)
4. Find and select the .cpt2 file from the download and click Open.
The library patches will be imported into your patch browser as a new collection, and the cpt2 will be copied to your library folder.
