Instead of navigating to the folder by clicking, try opening File Explorer and pasting:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\Native Access


I solved this by going to the Public\Documents\Native Instruments\ file using the explorer bar (because the folder wasn't shown, but in fact, it seemed to exist. I removed the readonly option and it worked. I just don't know why it was hidden, even though it displayed all folders, including hidden ones

In my case the standalone doesn't even start..., i guess is the old processor in my current poor workstation machine, a Phenom II x6 1100T. I'll install Reaper later to see if the VST3 launchs, at least. About the license BobDule has left a working one in this thread, ...

EDIT; i've never edited a .exe file to change a key, i'll try if the VST3 launchs.

I'm fightin' against the same, can't achieve the files mod without changing their sizes, are just a few bytes that dissapear, the files goes unusable. Obviously I'm a flat newbie in this kind of curses hahahahaha

For those still getting Demo mode after running the installer and keygen, you just need to edit this file in Notepad or any text editor:

C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Guitar Rig 7\Guitar Rig 7.exe

Please see bobdule's post for what to search for and what to replace within that exe file. There was only one instance of that for me. Kudos to you for finding that! But I'm curious how this would have been tested/released with the wrong signature in that exe file.

That is all I changed and everything works now with a Guitar Rig 7 Pro license.

EDIT: You also need to search and replace the signature in the vst3 file as well. I only tested standalone, hence, the .exe only worked for that. For the plugin to work in your DAW, you need to edit the vst3 file as well, here:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Guitar Rig 7.vst3

Perhaps the patch is no needed after the .exe editing, I wonder if you go now to inspect the Guitar Rig 7.exe through your editor u'll see again the non working key. Let us know if you do it.

My bad - I edited my post above. Yes, you need to patch both the .exe (for standalone) and the .vst3 (for plugin in your DAW).

This is all I had to do:

-Run the installer
-Copy/overwrite the NativeAccess.xml file
-Run the keygen
-Edit the exe file and search/replace the signature from bobdule's post (this lets the standalone work).
-Edit the vst3 file and search/replace the signature from bobdule's post (this lets the vst3 plugin work in your DAW).
