OK, this DOES work ok as a standalone version of Kore 2 - HOWEVER - if you try to install say a version of Kontakt 4 into the source box the resulting iteration of K4 asks for verification - bummer huh??!!

Even if the main, standalone version of K4 works without limits.

Any ideas anybody from ASSIGN??!!!

No - not a good version - after a while the unauthorised copy warning appears and you get the Buy or close options presented to you.

Edited:

AntiPiracy warning *may* appear with both Assign and also with the latest AiR version. I have heard this may have sth to do with addons and the order in which you install Kore and addons.

AntiPiracy warning appears also with the latest AiR version. There is NO WORKING RELEASE of Kore 2 available at the moment.

Hm... so how is it possible that I'm using it now for about one year without any problems? dunno

OK Gulliver, please post the full link from where you downloaded Kore 2 2.1.2 that functions without license request and that will make us ALL happy bunnies!!

Oh, 2.1.2 only came out in about October/November 2010 didn't it?

Do you care to comment on that please?

_@crichton13
_everyone who gets anti-piracy warning should learn how to use firewall to block an exe and dll files from "calling home". you can all do that in few clicks, it takes abaout 5 to 10sec and you are all set:)

Please learn to read before you are attacking me in such an aggressive way.

I never said anything about the 2.1.2 version, I didn't install it.
I was replying to the claim of oldor, that there is no working release of Kore 2.

Which is not true, I am using 2.1.1 without any problems for, as I said already, almost one year.

I wasn't attacking you Gulliver I was asking a question of you.

You came on so strong by saying you had a working copy that did not have copy protection I was keen to obtain it.

So stop being so protective and shit, I also WAS using the 2.1.1 (I think RC1138) version but tried to update but then got the license BS.

I won't be replying to anymore BS retaliation posts regarding your post ok. And P.S I CAN read thanks....

So, rainsad - many thanks for your post and advice - sadly, like with most hacked pieces of software, unless one starts to ask these questions no fucker will give you straight up advice as you did - so many thanks and I will try using windows firewall to stop the call home function of the APP. Perhaps if somebody else had thought to mention this, perhaps in a post-it note thread on the Forum then many of these 'silly' comments/questions would be stopped because valuable advice would be passed on....

Anyway - thanks for the steer...

Seems like you are not able to communicate in a non-aggressive way.

You know what... what you can do, I can do too.

Go and fuck yourself and stop stealing my time.

The trick as far as plugins showing up as not registered... when Kore 2 installs it makes it's own plug-ins folder inside the c:\program files\common files\native instruments\kore 2 directory (or whatever the path is for you). You must replace the dll files in this folder with the ones from your normal vst folder (normally c:\program files\steinberg\vst files\ or something like that). This also makes any presets in any Kore libraries that depend on certain plugins, like Kontakt, Massive, FM8, Guitar Rig, or Reaktor, completely editable.
