TCD | 01.2024 | 94.5 MB
Voxengo offers you high-quality professional DAW audio plugins: VST plugins, AAX plugins and AU plugins, and sample rate converters. Our goal is to provide user-friendly, robust, and efficient solutions for audio and music production, including mastering and surround sound. Voxengo professional audio plugins will empower your creativity and help improve the quality of your stereo and surround sound audio and music production.

Features:
-x86 SAL Deconvolver added to the bundle
-Easter egg in all formats of TEOTE, CurveEQ and HarmoniEQ - recognize!
-Security blocks at end of all binaries removed
-All manuals compressed without noticeable quality loss
-Cleans system/plugin folders of previous Voxengo even if you failed to uninstall well
-CRTIV Chorus is deprecated and no longer included. It is replaced
by Water Chorus and even has the same presets
-CRTIV Chorus is deleted in all places it exists (if you care,
for old projects or whatnot, backup manually and replace after)
-Complete assortment of icons installed
-Custom Themes, if chosen during install
-You may delete the older CurveEQ from Steinberg DAW main Program Files
folders, inside the VST3 folders.
-Uninstalling old not necessary for perfect functionality. However,
the old uninstaller files and entries in "Programs and Features"
part of Windows will remain. There are various quick and easy ways to
deal with this, Registry Finder (delete Voxengo entries @
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall)
and Windows Explorer search "unins" at
C:\Program Files\Voxengo to delete what it finds, is good. Or,
if you want the non-thinking way, just uninstall all normally.
Or if you don't care, just install this release and forget it. Your call.

Some of the best DSP behind subpar GUIs, dont be fooled like i was.

What do you mean?
Good plugins with bad GUI? Or simply bad plugins?

Former, really excellent plugins.

Weird, I've always liked these latest GUIs. I see the same sentiment everywhere and I genuinely don't understand what the problem is. The controls are very large and clear, data representation is good, and overall everything is neat, tidy, and moreover completely functional.

Do you have some suggestions one what could be different about them?

Bad wording from me, the GUI's ergonomic is really good, everything is laid out perfectly, no skeuomorphic bs, Its the colour palette thats shitty (even with the options) that makes Voxengo's lineup looks cheap, amateur and lazy atleast for me. But i got a FL Studio theme installed which is a whole different world now, way more inspiring to use.

Screws and handles are what inspire me. I would like to see screws, wood and rack handles on my voxengo’s

I get what Nem0404 means. It's not about usability. It's just that Voxengo has some kind of 90ies charme, but not in a good way. I mean sure, somehow I like how winamp looks, I still use it... but a little facelift every two decades or so wouldn't hurt.

been using voxengo for years. unfortunately the gui's have been fairly static since the winXP/win98 days... also ~80% of that stuff is superfluous - is one able to select what plugins are to be installed?

Alexey's plugins are top notch. Up there with Fabfilter and DMG imho. He's a perfectionist and behind these simple and sometimes cryptic GUIs (read the manual then ;)) lies great DSP code. I actually love the GUIs as they're super functional.

His bass processing plugins are the best I've ever tried. Kinda secret weapons.

I have the premium membership and this saves me having to install all of them one by one as Voxengo does not do a multi-installer. So thanks TCD!

I agree the GUIs could be a bit more up to date, but at least they are functional. Melda plugins also do great DSP but their GUIs are much worse again, though they have brought some of them up to date and simplified them. If you want to dig deep though you have to learn the system. I actually can get pretty deep in to Melda's plugins, but choose not to most of the time.

With Voxengo at least they have a consistent theme to the GUIs. There is a thread on KVR where they have collected all the different colour themes and some of them are quite good!

As for the DSP, you just can't go wrong. You can track, mix and master just with this premium bundle alone. The EQ's do their job and are anything from the very most basic (PrimeEQ) to the more esoteric and fancy like CurveEQ and GlissEQ. But what I really love are his compressors. Deft is silky smooth and transparent, Crunchessor adds a bit of heft and nice saturation, and Marquis can mimic several different types of compressor topologies.

Then there is Elephant, still one of the best Limiters ever made and I still use it regularly to this day because it just works so well and so many different types of program material.

The best part is that all of these plugins are still getting regular updates. Hardly a week goes by where I don't get a notification that such and such a plugin has been updated. When you look at the price of the FabFilter bundle and what you get, the Voxengo bundle is half the price and you get many more plugins - all updated for free, for life. Not knocking FabFilter, but I think most people would agree that Voxengo is better value. Then again, doesn't have that GUI candy thing going on like FabFilter.

I have plenty of GUI candy plugins but Voxengo are the real definition of workhorse plugins.

Elephant was a big fucking suprise for me. I was comparing it to Limitless, my main and supposedly the best limiter, and the thing breaks apart real fast with almost everything settings (but still better than other limiters), then i tried Elephant just in default mode (EL5), and i was like "is this bypassed?" but the damn graph was pushing ~8db. The dev said his EL5 algo was a breakthrough for him and i 1000% agree, this thing kept the micro dynamics and punch like the thing was never on in the first place.

Does anyone have problems with SOBOR? sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the GUI's of these excellent plugins, what do people want, brand new next generation shiny 3D rendered knobs with the extra graphical audio wow factor benefits of nothingness to add?
  Resident 6.03.2018 798
+337
Yes. That's what I want. Brand new shiny 3d knobs. As long as they don't take up terrabytes of HD space like Arturia's plugins. It doesn't matter how good they sound, I'm not giving up all that disk space for a handful of vst's.
  Resident 2.03.2019 5 261

agreed - however the gui's are "functional" albeit a bit claustrophobic. I don't need 3D renders but just a bit more air and real estate alluding to a better organized look and feel would be nice. They all are perfectly usable as they are, just old school looking...

i like how every time this comes up, there's always praises for the dev. definitely worthy of support.
