Cytomic The Drop v1.8.3 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 16 Jan 2024 | 19.4MB
The Drop is an analog modelled resonant filter plug-in based on classic analog synth filters, as well as completely new designs. There is a huge level of detail in the models, which gives them amazing drive and tone, as well as smooth audio rate modulation behaviour. The original structure of the circuits is preserved in the model, as is the location and shape of all major non-linearities.

Features:
Dual filter section with a Highpass followed by a Lowpass filter.
10 Highpass and 10 Lowpass circuit modelled filters from classic synths.
Loads of drive and character.
Full frequency range and perfect resonance tracking without oversampling so there is no delay for live use.
Huge amounts of resonance, also a resonance limit button for DJ use.
Two LFOs, one basic, one powerful with step sequencer for levels.
Two Envelopes / Followers, diode modelled, from input or sidechain.
FM from input or sidechain.
Stereo and Mono processing.

Antivirus acts funny with these new releases. Previous R2R ones are fine, except when using the keygen, as always, but this is happening with the setup file itself this time.

Are you guys also getting crashes when authorizing?

no problems here.
if I remember well, it could be a drag & drop thing (admin rights)

Can't drag and drop the txt file in Studio One, Win 10 machine. Won't take it. Turned off Defender, tried with and without admin rights, same thing. Had something like this a long time ago with an R2R kg, for the life of me can't remember what the workaround was. Anyone with any ideas on that?

Not sure man, are you revoking Admin privileges in your DAWs shortcut via, properties, advanced, uncheck Run as administrator?

Yup, tried that too. But thanks for the suggestion. This is very frustrating, especially since I'm hardly new at this stuff. Later on I might try unplugging my router, booting into safe mode, and seeing if I can do the install like that and still use the keygen. lol, nothing I hate more than having one of these things beat me :)

I had this issue before. I have Ableton on my machine as well, so I authorized it on there and then went back to S1, so perhaps if you have a different DAW, try that. It worked for me. S1 quite often has issues with the Drag and Drop authorization thing.

Doesn't work for me either.
First of all. The VST 2 plugin is going to be installable and is present in my VST2 Folder, but i will not be recogmized. I tested it in S1, Cubase, Live, VSL and Adobe Audition.
So only VST3 will be recognized. And also it's not going to be authorizable. In NO DAW or other VST Hosts. I tried it with rights as admin and without. On three different PC-Machines (2 Desktop, 1 Laptop). Very frustrating.

But thanks for the effort.

Okay, FINALLY got it working in Studio One. Can't promise you this will work for anyone else but here's what I did just in case it helps someone...

For awhile now I've just been installing VST3 versions for everything. This time I checked off both VST2 and VST3 for the install. For reasons I've no clue on, it only installed the VST2 even though both were checked off. On the S1 list of plugs it only showed the one entry, whereas usually it shows 2 if you've installed both VST2 and VST3.

At first it still wouldn't allow me to drag over the license text. I then minimized the main S1 window which left only the smaller authorization box showing on my computer screen. From there I was able to drag over the license text the R2R kg created, and this time it took!

Still not completely satisfied, I then tried to again install the VST3, mostly because I'm out of my mind at this point. So after activating the VST2, this time the VST3 did install and did activate. Oddly, after doing this, the VST2 I first installed disappeared from the S1 list and now I have only the VST3 listed, which is fine since that's what I wanted anyway. Repeated the above for Glue and Scream and now all 3 activated in VST3 format.

We'll see if it holds or if in a day or two the activations are gone. This took roughly 6 hours of my time trying to crack the code on this.

Also got it working now in S1
(So, this is going to work for me)

1: Studio One ( or other DAW / VST Host) - uncheck run as administrator (in case of)
2: PC RESTART!!!!!
3: Install "The Drop" as admin (Both VST3 and VST2)
4: Start S1 (DAW / VST Host)
5: open The Drop plugin in any track (insert, send, whatever)
6: copy the challenge code and click Done
7: open the KeyGen Generator - Insert Name / Alias and Challenge Code
8: Generate authoriation code
9: It is better to save the authorization TXT file to the Desktop
10: Now Minimize your VST Host / DAW Window , and drag and drop the authorize file to the GUI of the Plugin. Now it is going to be authorized!!
11: In case you don't need it, you can delete the VST2 plugin manually,
12: Optional: In case you need it, turn back the properties of the Host / DAW to " run as administrator" again.
:) :)

Interesting. So it seems we have a few things in common that got it working, which will maybe help someone else having difficulty to trim down what's necessary.

1. Turn off 'running as an administrator'.
2. Install VST2 and VST3 (my first tries were only with VST3).
3. Minimize Studio One main window when trying to drag license file to GUI. Should only
be showing the smaller Cytomic authorization window on your screen when you drag
and drop license.

If you're having a problem authorizing, start with just the above and see if it's enough.

For some reason, if only VST3 is installed cannot drop the aut file. I have installed VST2 as well and opened VST3, this time worked.
