A witch says,

Here is a clean collection of Arturia Sound Banks!

Some of the legit installer does not installs files properly in non alphabetic lenguage OS. This happens because Arturia is using ANSI version of Inno Setup while its file name contains european multibytes characters. In our release, you don't need to care about this issue!

These are only the banks of presets on sell, not the factory presets included on V collection or V collection itself, just extra banks of presets.

You need V Collection for this to work Sound banks is only preset files, I believe it works on Keyboards, Pianos, Synths and Pigments.

If I have their latest "Arturia V Collection X v10.0.0-R2R" release, do I need this?
Cheers :)

Afaik, I dont think so. There presets, or a collection of presets from the Arturia archives.

So, to answer your question, no.

I'm a bit confused about exactly what this is... for example, would you be using this instead of this week's V.R. sound banks release, or is this something in addition to that release?? Anyone know?

Does this version have any difference/ANSI problem? https://audioz.download/software/244594-download_arturia-sound-banks-bundle-202311-ce-vr.html
EDIT Nevermind, just noticed the 2Gb update, will get that. Great job.

this one is 10.1 GB while in VR is 19 GB ?!
I think R2R compresses it in their own way to minimize the pack
but after installation will be both in same size as I think

good job you both friends
I'm here , That's more than enough !!

Is this the exact same as what V.R releases? Well, I mean, will there be any reason to install both.. Or if I already have the patest V.R preset pack I'd have everything in this one?
  Resident 3.03.2020 740

as far as I know both are exact

but installing a VR over R2R or the opposite needs a careful trial
sometimes conflicts from their diff. emulators
so, take care

in my try
I did installed both at the same time, worked well
I'm a hobbiest not pro, commercial
in other plugins releases conflict happened
I'm here , That's more than enough !!

I just stuck to V.R's sound banks with R2R's V Collection X. V.R's sound banks work great for me, and if these are identical sound banks I'll just keep things this way!

Thanks for your input

As this installer puts Sound Banks files in some different location where is a default location for the Soundbanks on drive C (windows 11) ? I would appreciate your help.

All I’ll say is the entire Arturia ecosystem when it comes to presets coming from V.R. & now R2R is very confusing. In the past V.R. Installs would wipe Arturia presets or there would be doubles and it’s been a big headache for me. I’m in no way complaining about this fine R2R release. Just looking for a little more clarification. Which I probably am missing somewhere..

EDIT: Well I knew I should have just left everything the way it was. 2 hours to install every f@#king Arturia plugin one by one yesterday. Had over 45k presets in Analog lab by importing VR sound banks. Now after installing the R2R presets. I have less than 25k.... THis is very frustrating.

Based on the comments I see here we really could use some more info on the content of this release. I spent hours last night removing and cleaning up all the V.R. Arturia apps, then installing the new R2R Collection X, then removing all the old V.R. presets and doing a fresh install of their newest preset package to try and get everything neat and cleaned up. Took forever, and now I'm looking at this R2R release and asking myself 'What Now"???

Has anyone actually installed this that can let us know what is in this package? For example, is it just factory presets that R2R cleaned up? Is it a lot of 3rd party presets like what V.R. puts together? That information would really help.

Here's what I did. So maybe we can get on the same page. Starting fresh with no Arturia installs & cleaned system folders.

PART ONE
1. Installed latest full VR preset bundle

2. Copied entire programdata Arturia folder to desktop

3. Uninstalled VR preset bunde in programdata folder

4. I now started to install all legit Arturia VSTI & VST FX plugs (approx 2hrs)

5. I then installed R2R ASCEMU

6. Then using Arturia Patch for ASCEMU2 I patched all plugs with my custom script

7. Ran Anal Lab to confirm all were patched

Finally I merged the VR preset bundle folder I had copied to my desktop back into the legit/patched Arturia folder located in C:/programdata/arturia,

I then opened Cubendo & ran Anal Lab. Waited for the preset database to populate & then boom. 45k presets.

This evening. I ran the install cmd from the R2R preset bundle & it wiped nearly half of my presets from the database file. I even closed and rebooted Anal Lab several times waiting to see if the db would repopulate. My last final effort was to delete the actual preset db file. After reopening Anal Lab I waited and waited for the presets to populate. Slowly watching it go from zero to 1k to 5k to 15k presets. Unfortunately they stop at 25k.... So Im at a loss....

Currently starting over completely from ZERO installs as we speak. In the middle of redownloading all legit Arturia installers.

The question is why R2R preset bundle would contain less presets than VR bundle.

If I understand correctly, once R2R preset bundle is installed after V Collection. We should see the same presets as you would install VR preset bundle.

If the number of presets is different (e.g. 25k vs 45k), I guess the diference is duplicates?

IDK thats something I'd like to know too ... I made sure during the Arturia folder merge I was only moving files that were not present into the Arturia folder.... YES their are some presets w/the same name in Analog Lab. But they all are either for different synths or have different settings. I checked a few to make sure after I ran Analog Lab after the merge.

@Oxyuko - I think the answer to that is fairly simple. The V.R. pack has a good deal of third party presets. That's why the size of the V.R. pack increases with each release -- you have more 3rd party packs that have been released and V.R. is including more of them with each of their own preset releases.

The real question here, which I asked above, is what's in the R2R release? Is is just a cleaned up version of Arturia factory presets that are included if you actually purchased this, or is it a mix of 3rd party stuff plus factory presets? Some other combination? That's why this is so confusing, no one seems to really know what's in this R2R release. If someone that has installed it can please let us know it would really be appreciated. TY!

R2R preset bundle does contain 3rd party stuff.

Each preset file from R2R preset bundle is different when compared to the same preset file from VR preset bundle.

Based on a very quick observation, preset files of R2R do contain some kind of serialization.

This thing about presets is quite baffling. I installed VR's full bundle (V Collection X + additional presets bundle) three times, always after a full delete. The first time I got 38k presets in Analog Lab, the second time I got close to 45k, the third time 42k (more exactly, 42.847), plus 12.511 User presets. It all seems quite random. Is there a proven installation sequence that always gives the same number of presets?
