not quite. 😆
you can download the official installer from Steinberg and use the unlocker b6 which was included some in older Steinberg software releases by r2r.

unlocker b6 and R2R are not allowed to be in the same sentence.

I remember being accused of an "unauthorized download (piracy)" by steinbug support; when I used their downloader to dl C11 about a week early. The absolute fail So I have no problems using another method! Thanks obvs r2r (r2early!) & DECi x

It's good. But i'll stick with Reaper v.7 :) Once you've switched and did your custom setup, you never look back

for real? I keep seeing reaper users being so happy with that daw but just couldn't imgaine it would be easier than using FL Studio. Is it really that good?
Keep going...

cubase 470mb vs reaper 30mb , one is well optimized :)
  Member 4.05.2021 339

one has score editor, video editor, advanced midi hardware controller, virtual control room, at least 4-5 high level plugins and tons of track preset ready to go, ambisonic, ambichest, ambichellat, ambiwhatever you want

well optimized, obviously

Apparently StefanDedalus like Halion from Steinberg - which Reaper does not have anything similar...

oh thanks, I didnt include Halion Sonic and 20 gigas of libraries royalty free because we were talking of "400 mb", what a problem... :) thanks

Some people avail themelves of 2 or 3 DAWs.
|Something to note for those who like FL Studio but hate that you can't export into other DAWS (due to gol's midi idiocy)...
Bitwig can open FL Studio projects and then you have actual midi to export.

Well if you like to use Bitwig, too that's cool, but i found it great to get all my old FL Project scraps into a normal format. ( I like Reaper best, too)

I think it is snappier than Cubase 12, but that Studio One look totally new look is so confusing... Why???????

Thanks Team R2R for providing us :)

you mean the colors? because the project window has been changed since years now
  Resident 21.10.2014 10 833

Not the colors. The whole new concept of design, many new features... But UI is something thay I most accommodate with for a long time...
But it is snapier than v12, but still testing.

Cubase "unlocked" - does this actually work correctly - sorry the sceptisism, I have heard so many times that Cubase protection unbreakable and when broken Cubase itself ends up broken ?
Anybody have experience, actually using it and all Steinberg "ulocked" stuff really working correctly ?
  Resident 21.01.2010 2 73

That was when there was do for protection, since v12 it’s been fully working.

I mean I use legit c12 and r2r nuendo and they're both pretty stable. I think most of the problems stem from steinbug's dongle protection? I'll prolly buy c13 update, but not sure if it's even worth it?
Thx to anybody posting Spitfire / OTB libs!
