Never hear anyone making sampletank presets? I tried some days ago but found out it's a different program. I can't see any advantage to other "samplers", why do you like it?

I dont know if I like it yet. I just want to try a different sampler than Kontakt wich became a pain the ass with their new database system,
main expectations arre modern brass, and orchestral sounds.

Any advice?

Ok, I see. What about it has changed? I love kontakt but their tiny gui has always kept me away and their old code and old style appearance.
The only one I can think of is falcon which seems almost as good/deep as kontakt.

I prefer to have both Kontakt and Sampletank, the more the merrier, not because of the quantity, but because of the different qualities they both have.
Many years ago with sampletank, I managed to make backing vocals that is impossible to do in kontakt, in sampletank I managed to work with an entire melody in unison to become pure well-designed melody.
So, I never compare these two products, which of course have a lot in common, as we use to see in "set theory of mathematics".
