1. No need install to system

4. Also, I recommend installing the patch 'Activation Manager Unlocker b6' before launching. It's not mandatory, but it might help if you encounter any startup issues. The patch itself can be found in the 'Activator' folder. Additionally, I have included the file 'vc_redist.x64.exe' in case you experience any Windows system problems.

This is my exclusive portable version for AUDIOZ, this awesome professional music production software (so that you can have it on a flash drive). I created it solely for myself, and now I'm sharing it with you because I'm always on the move, and my studio is far away, so this format suits me best. If you encounter any activation issues, I recommend following the steps described below.

FIX ERROR WITH ACTIVATION
1. Delete files in folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Activation Manager
2. Install "Activation Manager Unlocker b6" with admin rights.
3. Come back to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Activation Manager and copy all files to Portable: \App\Steinberg\Steinberg\Activation Manager and agree to replace
4. Try running! Work - Good! No? if not replace file too \App\Steinberg\Activation Manager from step 3))

what seems to be the issue? You wrote something vague and didn't specify the problem or its location. You simply wrote and that's it. If something isn't working for you, try to figure out why. Write down the problem, provide a log, and that's all. Right now, it seems like you're just clueless about what to write and you're thinking, "Let me just write something to make it seem like I'm doing something." If there are many downsides, then I believe it's time to draw a conclusion, as right now, you're just leading people on. Tell me about the problem, and then we can discuss it. And if others are experiencing the same issue, I'll review it and fix it or remove the release.

we had to prohibit it, because uploaders just flooded the site with portable release on every regular release and then modified portable on portable release. AudioZ would become a dump if we didn't prohibit portables

Thanks for your reply. I was really meaning software in general. I know very little about the technical side of software, but it seems to me that portable programs are probably more efficient and less intrusive on a computer's system. I think that they are what installable programs should have initially been.

Thanks for the portable but it doesn't works on my side. I still get error about license and i already installed Activation Manager Unlocker b6.exe and vcredit.
Now doesn't works at all, i get immediately the nag; CubasePortable END OF WORK

What four steps?
In the "If activation is not working.txt" file it only points to installing the activation unlocker in the 'Activator' folder....what are the 3 other steps?

For me, it didn't work unfortunately. I installed the unlocker, I already had all the MS VC redistributables installed so I don't know what else to do?

EDIT: Ok, got it. Instructions are in the above description .
However, it didn't immediately work for me. I finally understood what the problem was...Cubase was still running in the background even if it failed to run.
I had to go to Task Manager (Windows) to shut it down and then redo the entire process. Now all is fine

A BIG thanks for this Portable version!! Portable is always my first choice and when it comes to a DAW, it's even better as it allows one try them out without the possible mess several DAW installs could create!

Portable is great and thanks to LiberCool - but PSA: the R2R silk emulator still works on all versions of Cubase/Nuendo. You can just DL the programs direct from Steinberg and simply replace the license-engine-access.dll with the R2R one.

It can't affect other programs in any way, and if you're experiencing such a problem, it's most likely due to something else.

I got it to work on win 10 and works well but I didn't use the first visible .exe. I went into the app folder and found cubase and clicked it and it worked. Not sure why their first visible .exe does not work but if you go into the app folder and fin cubase in there it should work.
