put your presets somewhere on the side, install the new one, and then merge yours to the new ones

Yeah thats my main gripe with the VR version, if you have any user made presets it'll nuke those when it writes the new database so as the other person said copy it to another location (or just rename the program-data folder, a little simpler imo) and then merge it so you don't lose anything.

It's a bit more complex to make the bundle more lightweight.
Arturia Instruments need their presets in \ProgramData\Arturia\Presets but the biggest part of the release are probably samples (they get stored in \ProgramData\Arturia\Samples) that are needed as soundsources for some presets to work. Pigments uses lots of those samples (8 GB) !
But Analog Lab, The Augmented-Piano,-Strings and -Voices, CMI, Emulator, Mellotron for sure and the Prophet, Synclavier and Vocoder use samples as well.

So for a bundle that uses way less memory, it's best deleting banks of those instruments

Solution for y(our) problem is and that is what I am practicing with VR because of the exact same thing, and overbloating his installer is that you either install virtual machine and install there whole bank and backup files on your PC, or use native VM, Windows 10 sandbox which is the same virtual machine, do as told above and that's it.
If you wanna Innoextract and read what is he doing within his inno scripts use HxD program to edit executable file and remove that obfuscation method in his installers and then read the script with Innoextract and place files accordingly and if there is a need for registry entries to be edited you have and registry file inside so you can register those patches/ file locations etc. with that reg file.
Hope that helps, because there is no other way doing it if you have not that password.

Do I need to use special version of Analog Lab V and Pigments to use these presets? I installed a previous version and it worked for my registered Pigments 4 -But in my registered version of Analog Lab Lite I had lost all my presets and could not load the ones I had installed from the Sound Banks Bundle version from 2022. I had to uninstall and re-install my purchased libraries one at a time. Between Pigments 4 & AL lite I have over 50 libraries so I wanted to cover myself before installing these files.

Soundbank "Trap Sequence" crashes the whole thing like Analog Lab or your DAW.
