The Scream is an analog modeled stomp box distortion plug-in based on the classic green Tube Screamer pedal. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulators, but optimised to run much faster, and features a gorgeous fully scalable user interface. It is a full discrete component model of the original, with modified Boyle macro modelled op-amps. All component and model values in the circuit can be edited to customise your tone. Choose LEDs or Germanium diodes to create asymmetric clipping combinations, chain any number of diodes in series or even bypass t

Many thanks R2R and funtime!

I didn't think you would bother patching a public beta, though, but wait until the final stable release? No matter... thank you for the "Try Before Buy"

Edit: Or perhaps the details on the website are out of date? The About in the plugin does not mention anything about "beta".

This plug-in has been in "beta" since 2017, but I think it's fair to say that it's as stable as any final release. Seems like Andrew just started working on this plug-in again in 2022 (there were no updates at all between December 2017 and November 2022), so maybe there will be a v1.0 soon.

Yeah he has been unwell so good to see him back. The final version of this will be more like version 2, it was a similar case with the drop.

Ah, okay! Good to see him back then. He really is a genius when it comes to audio DSP! IIRC, he's mostly self-taught, and has basically found his own way to most accurately emulate analog gear.
