EDIT: Have some stutter issues in Cubase 12 Pro with the vst2 version,
when you loop short sections of the song.
In Bitwig works fine.

can it be installed with the older version side by side ? got it tied too few projects. Not sure if this is just a version 2 that can recall older version or a new from ground up.

I could well be wrong, but I don't think so (on windows at least). I tried but it knocked version one back to a demo. Presume the license info is in one of the 2 files you need to delete before installing this one.

So I ended up just going with version 2. Haven't tried with an old project yet....

Actually, just found an old project (Ableton) and it opened v2 automatically on the correct preset without issue.

Live dangerously.....don't bounce....

Looks like it works in a similar way to Shaperbox. Definitely will try this because shaperbox hasn't had an update on here for a long while.

This installer won't let the user choose where to install the VST files.
It will be forced into Program Files\VSTPlugins\DeviousMachines unfortunately.
Have to transfer to VST folder manually.

VST3 version will keep crashing Ableton 11 when pressing the Menu button.
VST2 version does nothing.

No, it is not intentionally disabled. The result -seems- to be hardware dependent or OS dependent. It is not known for sure why it behaves differently on different machines, at this time. It could also possibly be some registry setting or similar.

On some machines, it goes along perfectly and some exhibit what you are saying. If it is able to be fixed for all machines, it will be. Any helpful info from anywhere, anyhow is good - i.e. this machine does this, this machine does that, and relevant basics like OS, CPU, GPU. It -could- be OpenGL or graphics driver related.

Here: OS, Win 11 - perfect, Win 7 menu crash, in all cases this is true. (Runs ok if you don't press menu though.)

Anyone else with info?

It is already all figured out and fixed. Thorough testing, script compiling, everything necessary and then the PROPER will be uploaded. I advise that if you are on Windows 7 and have it installed, just enjoy it for now, play around with it, and wait. Win10+ should also install it too, when ready. Thank you for the help and info. Apolgies for the minor inconvenience - you will be able to install right on top like nothing ever happened:

Im excited for the PROPER! I can't for the life of me get this to work at the moment. It keeps saying DEMO Expired and then when you hit authorize is just says license active. Kinda bummer but i'm sure it'll all work out.

It's already in queue on here. Make sure you clean out %appdata%\DeviousMachines\Infiltrator\ from the previous version's files before install the PROPER.

Isn't it better if you get it as a bundle, I think it's not just a Devious Machines Infiltrator 2 but Duck and Booster and Texture should also get an update or what do you think? should we rather wait otherwise thank you very much for the update and thank you very much for the great effort

waiting for proper release because it keeps erroring in fl studio and ive followed all the steps im on windows 11 tho so that might be an issue
