There are fake dongles sold in the world. These are just duplicated dongles; there is always 1 original dongle for those fake ones. These dongles have same ID and that ID can be detected by DaVinci Resolve. BMD adds duplicated dongles' ID to the blacklist in the updates from time
to time. That's why fake dongles can be disabled.
