From v1.5, IK does not include all sound content in the installer. Most content is included in old v1.1.x installer. (ModoDrumData_*.pak) files are the actual sound content.

To get 3 new drums available in v1.5 you need to wait the retail supply. New installer for the previous content should be nice too :)

So we have to move the old .pak file to the new install and wait for someone to share the new 3 kits?

correct but sorry for bad news but is incorrect as it not working

this new keygen for modo drum 1.5.0 is not working correctly the previous keygen works with modo drum 1.1.3 ok
if you try to adding the old pak content this does not work
all this 1.5.0 version shows is studio kit and rest need to be
download but it cannot download the kits

if anyone get this to work please share how you did this or can give links to content directly for downloading

THIS WORKS PERFECTLY WITH THE OLD KITS -

The install 'secret' is -
1) iNSTALL
2) USE THE KEYGEN TO AUTORISE
(If you having problems maybe authorize the old version too)

Congratulations you got your first +1 Rating for giving false info, as it does work and there's no secret way to install it, just a straightforward install & authorize using the keygen.

This is what puts teams off releasing things there's always people who rather than say - I HAVE A PROBLEM INSTALLING,

That IS NOT CORRECT.
It works perfectly with old kits, you need to use the keygen and AUTHORISE them, then it works perfectly.

It turned out strange for me - I installed the new version, specified in the installer the paths to the old folder with the sound pack, registered it with a new keygen. Standalone opened completely normally, I even managed to listen to a couple of grooves and play for about 5 minutes. And then I decided to copy my previous presets for kits and some fx, and after that MODO Drum started showing a warning window: "Unable to load sound pack". After that, I tried to reinstall the previous version 1.1.3 (without Standalone), registered it again with the old keygen, but MODO Drum even stopped opening. Then I installed it again on top of Standalone 1.5, but the libraries were no longer loaded.
In the end, I reinstalled the entire 1.1.3 version, registered it, and everything works so far.

It's 2GB but they call it physical modelling, lol. I guess you can call anything physical modelling. IK Multimedia likes to pretend their samplers are somehow more than they are (Syntronics for example.. I want my synthesizers to come with all the paramaters, not sample layers). This thing 100% uses samples as the loading is slow as heck.

Also, no brushes, so what's the point in this, I'd stick to samples.

You are a little mistaken, the ready-made samples in this instrument are only for cymbals, but the all drums themselves are fully emulated. This issue was discussed in detail both on the official website and on other resources that deal with music software.

for me it worked! I uninstalled everything from it. I installed version 1.1.3 and then revamped 1.5. Bingo! I validated with keygen r2r! only 3 packages are not working, but this is described in the link, we have to wait! Thank you R2R!

So you first installed v1.1.3 then the 1.5? over the old one?

If you have installed v1.1.1 or v1.1.3 you just need to install this one but 3 kits missing. If you dont have any earlier versions and if you install this one you going to have only 1 kit. If you installed this one and decide to install earlier version it will crash, you need to uninstall this one, install earlier version after that you need to install this one again. You can install both versions to same folder but if you cant see more than 1 kit you need to locate old version library folder from settings.

Perhaps there is a less convoluted way of doing this, but here it goes: version 1.1.3 asks where to place the full library (3 *.pak files totaling 10GB). You may use the same folder as the main program or install it elsewhere. Version 1.5 doesn't ask and installs only the Factory library (2.7GB) inside the same folder as the main program. Install version 1.1.3 first, move the library to a separate folder, install version 1.5 over it, open the plugin and, in Setup (the gear icon), point to the folder where version 1.1.3 libraries are kept. Everything will work, except the new libraries (Silver, Brit Custom, Metal). At this point, you may delete ModoDrumFactoryContent.pak in the program folder.

Also, version 1.1.3 installs the VST and VST3 plugins in the main plugin folder, whereas version 1.5 installs those inside an "IK Multimedia" subfolder. If your DAW keeps showing version 1.1.3 after the install (Reaper, for instance, does that), you will have to delete the old ModoDrum.dll and ModoDrum.VST3 files manually in order to have the new ones scanned by the DAW.

I followed this sequence, applied the registration and everything is working fine.

I got it to install and is working, except for the stock kits. It says the manager is not installed properly so it does not let me download the stock kits. I got the 3 new kits to work but not the stock kits. ANyone have ideas how to get around this?

working fine for WIN 11. Here's how you do it :

1. If you have v1.1.3 + sound content installed, find these 3 files and move it somewhere.

ModoDrumData_000.pak
ModoDrumData_001.pak
ModoDrumData_002.pak

use search function to locate those file

2. Uninstall the v1.1.3
3. Install the v1.5.1. Authorize with R2R Keygen
4. Create a folder anywhere you like, name it something like "Modo Drum Sound Content" or shit like that. Place it anywhere you like. Move the 3 files mentioned earlier into the folder.
5. Download additional 3 kits here. Copy the *.pak files to the sound content location you created earlier.
6. Fire up DAW, load Modo Drum.
7. Click the gear icon (settings) , locate the Sound Content Folder.
8. Close Modo Drum plugin, remove it from project.
9. Reopen it back. Everything should be there.

Unfortunately it dont work 4 me. All libraries are locked, but I install somehow 1.1.3 and over 1.1.3 installed 1.5 in this way I see libraries, but not sure that it full content or not
