And Native Apple Silicon support on Mac, even allowing Intel and ARM plug-ins to work side-by-side.

hi, this is not an official crack, I have used the crack from this post
4.0.1 release
with the official 4.0.8 installer and worked without a problem.
how to install:
How to activate:

0. [Optional] Type your name in the "activation.bwreg" file and save it. Your new projects will be signed with this name (RUTRACKER is default name).

1. Install Bitwig Studio 4.0.8.msi

2. Replace the bitwig.jar from "Crack.rar" to the one in this path file in C:\Program Files\Bitwig Studio\4.0.8\bin with the one from the patch folder.

3. Run Bitwig Studio

4. Click "Offline?"

5. Click "Load activation file"

6. Select file activation.bwreg

7. Click "Continue"

8. Wait for restarting Bitwig Studio

Download demo from bw website and make sure you open the 4.0.8 executable file once installed. You can have different builds installed at the same time... maybe you are using an old shortcut leading to 4.0.1 or something. It works fine, i tested it.

you dont understand, i done all that! the Bitwig when runs shows 4.0.8 on the INTRO LOGO but inside the DAW if you click in ABOUT you will see Version 4.0.1

that Cracked file is not only the copy protection, there is DATA inside and in this case is DATA from Version 4.0.1

it says Version 4.0.1 because it has data from that version but it's not totally the same as 4.0.8, the place where i figured out that you can use the 4.0.8 version had one of the guys test it with 4.0.7 and he had a bug that's not in 4.01. so while it's says 4.0.1 it's not totally the same, i guess.

Dude... what you have to understand is that the "about" window will show what it reads from the JAR/crack file. It has nothing to do with 4.0.1 in terms of functionality or whatever. If you open the 4.0.8 exe, you are going to use that build and that's it
