No. If you read what it says you would see that it says "underpay rather than steal" and then you can choose $15/10/5. If you click any of the alternatives below (i.e "Money is tight", "Software should be free", "I don't give a fuck") you get the plug-in for free.

I cant find many VST's that offer this kind of effect.

And this is a good one,
although I can probably live without the creatively gaudy UI.
Its a bit much.

But its a style. Kinda "Trap"?
I've got friends who ABSOLUTELY prefer EVERYTHING hyper-styalized every time!

Actually freakshow will quite literally allow you a license for their plug-ins free, all of them you just literally tell them you are stealing it......they say theyd rather you get a stolen plug-in from them then some anonymous cracker - course if you make money best go pay them.......however since they are kind enough to allow me to steal their product, if i use them enough naturally i will buy them


oops guess I am not the only one to steal their product, however i do commend them on their marketing, backmask is alright i havent used the others cuz of a hd crash but i would be interested and like i say generous terms like that they deserve to get paid if one uses their stuff.
I am most certainly interested in their distortion they are coming out with, although so far rift kicks ass over even thermal

Does anybody know any other VST's that offer a reversing effect?

Synapse fat space reverb has a reverse switch,
but it's crashy for me.

Soundtoys Echo Boy has a reverse setting and Crystalizer has a Pitch shifting reverse echo, the soundtoys products are great would love to have their new version. There are several other effects that have reverse but I just can't remember at the moment, its not an effect you'd use often enough to remember.

Soundtoys seems to be a little harder to wrangle as an install,
it wants things in certain folders. But its good to know the options.

You need at LEAST one good one.
For that melancholy backwards droning and cresendos...
Its a classic sound, ever since Are you Experienced as far as I know.
An almost requisite effect for any atmospheres Kontakt expansion.

I love their approach ,style and unpredictability with the glyphs taking over the UI instead of picture perfect fonts , first i pulled their plugins like a pirate then i liked their website so much that i wrote to them and stole their plugins from their site , and then later bought all of their plugins as a bundle, no regrets!!
