It has been this way in the past. The groups released a patcher inc. keygen and you had to download a new version only when the auth system changed. This is of course much more convenient for the users than if we have to wait for e.g. R2R every time. Sometimes in vain.

i cant understand how to use this patcher.. is there any tutorial video with this patcher so i can do it step by step the installation from the begging till the end? i tried to install and complete the installation with the previous patcher with keygen that was posted before some days but at the end i couldn't do it.. and when i am trying to reinstall it, i can't throw the authorize file inside ableton so to authorize ableton. it doesnt allow me.. why?? anybody can help?

When you mean patch live with this patcher, do i have to copy paste the new patcher on the destination folder of ableton to replace the ableton icon? And after open ableton from the patched icon which i pasted it? I am asking cause when i did all this for the first time, ableton didnt allow me to drag and drop the authorize file on ableton.. why this happends? Do i have to delete also the keyreg from system when i unisstall it so to install from the beggining? Why it doesnt let me to drag and drop and authorize file?
Is there any complete uninstall tutorial video and an install tutorial video on the web? I know i am asking too much but if you can help i would be very very happy!

Not sure if this is your issue but you need to right click on the ableton exe and go to properties, and remove the ''Run this program as admin'' checkbox.

This also ends up helping with other issues I had in the past and I remember authorizing being one of them, so I'd say just always remove Run As Admin.
Edit: And block ableton with your firewall so it isn't connecting to internet for updates or anything.

Okkk.. and how do i patch live with this patcher? I open the patcher that i downloaded and browse, find and choose the ableton live.exe so to patch it?
I did it this way and the patcher dialog was saying trying again to patch and trying again to patch and nothing happened.. was saying unable to patch. Why?

I know this reply comes a year later, but this may help others who read this at a later time.
Patchers sometimes work best when they are copy and pasted into the installed directory of the program (after the program has been installed). For example, currently in August 2023 the default install location of A . L . is in "C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 11 Lite\Program".
In the last folder of that location, called "Program" , you should see all of the inner workings of the app (like dll's) . Copy then paste the Patcher into the last folder called "Program". Then run that Patcher that is inside that last folder. This is the usual way of using a patcher file. Hope this helps some peeps. 👍

Can someone peeplink the link to Live Intro or Standard, I'm not interested in the full Suite version (bloatware IMO FWIW)

edit: I've just used logic from the address of the trial installer and the Intro and Standard versions are exactly the same size. It must just grey out the features of the Suite version which eliminates the reason for the above request, Hilarious!!

BTW Has anyone tried it yet?

The only thing they will know is that you downloaded the Demo. By the Way if you use Warez today a VPN should be normal and your real IP is not showing up. And if you are unsure just block connection for the App via Firewall or just turn internet connection off before starting the DAW.

i was using the Live Patcher for MAC made by Team HCiSO,

nice to see we now have the Windows version too!

from now on you guys can have live updates turned ON , every time ableton updates you just need to run the patch and its cracked again.

This seems like a great idea but the only way to get the legit setup from ableton is to download the Trial Version, and if you do that the Logo will be different (grey instead of charcoal), as well as the folders it stores ableton in will be named Ableton Trial.

Maybe I am just doing something wrong but when I tried updating the R2R 11.1 version, it would not update to the latest 11.5.
And when I tried with the legit version, it looks really wonky and unlegit.. Anyone care to post some clear instructions to not have it look like a permanent trial?
