Why does R2R always release products after V.R?
Is V.R the real guy behind unlocking stuff? I ask this question since R2R usually releases products after V.R has already released them.

I don't think that is the case. Maybe as a team they have a lengthier validation process for their cracks. Considering V.R. likes to release Rev2 and fixed versions more often than R2R, I think it is safe to assume this. Nevertheless, both have a different cracking method and they both work. For us spoiled children, our job is to choose which one to use :). I hope this is a satisfying answer for your question.

I always prioritize R2R releases over VR, and any other team for that matter. This is because of their demonstrated reliability over the 7 years that I have been relying on their releases. I have tried VR releases over the years and found that their work often includes convoluted installation procedures and later errors in software operation. If I see a VR release (or any other team) of something I really want, I wait for R2R to offer the same software. Sometimes, that never happens and I have to use the VR releae. I have to admit that, sometimes VR releases work just as promised. For example, they have released Unfiltered Audio stuff that has worked well for me. The take away from this is: R2R is the gold standard by which I judge all other releases.

As someone who praised VR for Steinberg software releases, one thing i can say, as you cannsee all activators of him are in beta (testing/unfinished) stage, while R2R are stable and works like the legit one maybe even better... In Steinberg case Team R2R described a flaw in Team VR Steinberg releeases and modify system, while R2R is just pure. dll emulator without any system modification... Etc... And releases which is first depend of moderation here and uploader, tou can not know who has maked it first and that is not the goal, but to get right thing which is working withiut flaws...

The only and biggest and most important difference is that the VR Team version does not modify the official exe (cubase12.exe) and therefore there is no need to wait for any custom install update from VR team to enjoy any new official future update, which makes it totally compatible with any new future official and original Cubase update without the need to patch anything again.
And it goes without saying that an original and unmodified executable will always be more stable than a custom modified one as in the case of R2R which needs to release a modified and custom version of their own installer so that each new official update can be compatible with their new and flagship emulator.
So the VR release of Cubase 12 Pro is logically the better option of the two, with their respective pros and cons of course.

Yes. For different crackers it is usually best to uninstall/install.
They may place files in different places, so while it may actually work, you may have junk files afterwards, or ... it may not work.
That usually depends existence of registry entries (or not), where supporting files are placed, etc.
R2R will often state in the R2R folder in an R2R.txt how to remove previous installs.
If there is no such txt file and there is an existing R2R install, i will often just install "over".
There is always a chance that a cracker may change their method of file placement, or the vendor has changed their method, so it is safest to uninstall previous versions when dealing with a full installer.
If it is just an update, as long as it is the same cracker, all should be OK.

If it is your DAW software and you are either unfamiliar with how the software is installed, (locations of personalized things, etc,) it is best to back up your entire OS disk, just in case.

You can just download this and read the 'R2R.txt' file in which R2R kindly explains how to clean up VR's crack and reinstall R2R's.

If VR works for you, there's no real reason to switch. It depends on what you want ultimately.

R2R have a good rep for a reason but sometimes their stuff isn't as good e.g. K'd Kontakt vs Danilov/bobdule

VR is handy for some things because you just have to install and you can use it immediately (and sometimes as an all-in-one bundle) whereas R2R requires keygens and individual installs. People unfairly rag on VR at times but his work is just as good even if he takes a different approach to cracking.
