Would be interesting to compare these to their Acustica counterparts.

If I'm not mistaken (?) these plug-ins are regular algorithmic ones, not convolution based. Comparing them to something like NoiseAsh Preamps would make more sense, but I get what you mean.

AFAIR, AA preamps produce way lower harmonics than these.

pretty nice but a bit high on CPU usage, same issue with 70% of fx plugins these days. either too much latency or too much CPU consumption. the sound is pretty nice tho i must say

What are your computer's specs?

FL Studio 20.9.2 on Windows 10 16Gb Ram, i7 9700k overclocked to 4.90Ghz. My cpu is decent for what I do, not the best or newest gen but I never really run into problems. These plugins use 13-14% cpu for each instance, imo it’s too cpu heavy. Plugins like trackspacer, pro Q 3 etc. use less than 1%. Very cpu efficient. I can open as many as I want without cpu getting too crazy

Yes, given your computer specs, it's too much.

Their consumption equals roughly two free TDR Nova, each with four bands in dynamic mode. That's quite a lot.

This sounds like a phase issue to me. And they kill the cpu with excessive oversampling. To be honest I'm not sure this sounds good

Great perception. Apart from the 1X73 all of them produce more than a dozen complete phase twists down to below 200Hz! Completely inacceptable.

sounds great imo... but I have to confirm that, even on a top end machine, these little hogs hit pretty hard on the CPU...

EDIT: anything "great" here... i was tricked by my headphones...

This is correct, it Sounds abysmal in the low's (an area that analog should excel), it's definitely phased to a point of un-usable

Why is there nothing on these on youtube? I've never heard of these.

pretty sure this is a badly coded true-stereo IR captured from the device, phase issues and reverb-like artifacts are all over place.
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

At least we can thank R2R for enlightening us of how terrible these plug-ins are! Badly coded and absolutely unusable even when they work as intended.
