same here. I´m using a lot of "unofficial" libraries, respectively ones with unofficial nicnt files to have them listed in the library tab with a fancy wallpaper. It´s just so much nicer ;)
...but unfortunately not possible with R2R release.
Usually I prefer R2R because usually it´s the most stable release, but when other releases give me functions that I´d sorely miss I wish R2R would sometimes leave their path of purity - purity in the sense of: Works as untouched original because it´s not altered itself.
I get the approach though, it´s the art of R2R and it´s impressive.

R2R's Kontakt always have problem with some libraries, bobdule or vkdanilov's Kontakt works with almost every library.

Especially because NI "banned" some old but proper libraries and R2R's version can't load them.
This doesn't make them any less legendary but I use a couple of those. Great work anyways

Installed ok and works, however only 9 out of my 200+ libraries load. The rest either do not work or are in DEMO. I rolled back to 6.6.1 by bobdule and all my libraries are ok again. I am sure R2R will sort things out. Thank you.

i can hack it to take home made stuff and unlock all the libraries. no licenses for lib. only for kontakt.

it is 3 small modifs to make. (allready done here)
i will probabilly make a patcher for this.

You've gpt 200+ libraries? Wow. I should pay attention to your posts regarding Kontakt especially because I've got some cases of overlibraring, too. Personally, I use only about a dozen. I hate Kontakt actually. It sounds like shit generally, it's overbloated and unstable now. It used to be a really great sampler until version 5.

You do synthesizer music mostly, right? You can get away easily with only using a handful of Kontakt libraries, or even none at all. Doing that when you're an orchestral composer would be a slightly different story though...
But I agree, Kontakt doesn't feel good to use and it crashes quite often on me. I wish someone else held the industry standard, because NI hasn't taken good care of it.

I also use a lot of hardware that never crashes. Software i s secondary for me except the FX, but no compressors and distortions usually - hardware sounds better.and I like pressing buttons and hearing the sound through a mixer.

No, I'm not making only synth music. It involves a lot of samples and real sounds, but usually tweaked a lot [think Amon Tobin]. Pads and background sounds are synth usually, be it a hardware or software. Whatever fits.
