Lore is an advanced sound design workstation inspired by musique concrète, microsound and other pioneering sound technologies of the past several decades. It combines spectral and granular engines along with several other features designed to unleash the power of microsonic resynthesis.

New in version 1.0.12 (updated 3.14.22) - Live audio input for realtime processing, routing matrix between granular and spectral machines, convolution spaces and lots of performance updates.



Installation

1. Copy all the files in the VST2 archive to your default Vst2 location.
2. Install Csound (binaries should suffice; if not, grab the full version).

Obviously, if you want to use VST3 version, copy the directory to your default VST3 location. In case you have been using the previous version, replace the old files with the new ones. Thanks.

I have the paid previous version and if I substitute in VST 3 Lore directory the plugin doesn't work anymore.

All I'm getting when launching into Reaper is this:

What that tells me is this compiled VST is not compiled statically [with Csound libraries included], but dynamically. That's why we have to install the Csound binaries from the Csound website. Then it should work. Just putting the csound64.dll into Lore's folder should make it work, as well as putting it into windows/system32 folder.

For W7 and W8 users, I would try the XPx64 compatible release of Csound if it doesn't work with the newest Csound release. Sorry, I haven't tried it yet. Running W7 for audio.

Thanks for the share. But unfortunately not listed in either vst 2 or vst 3 plugin folder of Live v11.1 on win 10 system. No joy, even with c sound installed. Its a dead ducky!

for those who this is not working for, try installing the 64bit csound app. or instead, try downloading the 64bit binaries from the csound site and just copy the csound64.dll into your windows/system32 folder. that one did the trick for me.

Csound is brilliant in itself, when you learn how to use it, and it's a standalone app.
This made me want to look up for some Csound plugins, or a shell of some kind... I've been wanting to play with it for years, and it's multiplatform so I can use it in Linux. Should be another great toy [and rather special] in the arsenal.

okay help, I have several version and all the puremagnetik plugins that have a load sample feature have the same error: the sample fails to load.. I load it and nothing happens, all the libraries have been installed including the binaries
