This is varimu, SSL Bus comp is vca. A wildy different type of compressors.
Come here just to try the software and buy it afterwards.
If I don't like the software I will just DELETE it.

All comps are different, even the same constructor... Comps need to compress... IS NOT so important if is vca, optical... Tubes or transtors inside, soft or hardware are Not important neither ... The only important is if compress nice to your ears or Not... And this is nice for me... But ssl native bus is more nice 100% all time for me. Arturia comps all people said nice things, and for me are the most horrible thing, seems a metal zone pedal from Boss...

The type of compressor is important if you are serious about audio engineering.
A tube (aka “variable-mu,” “vari-mu”) compressor produces smooth compression with warm and pleasant coloration. The circuitry achieves its attenuation through re-biasing of the tubes. These units are not super-fast acting, so they aren’t as good as FET or VCA units for transient control. However, they add warmth and depth to just about anything; you can get nice-sounding aggressive compression if you push the input and threshold controls to extremes.
VCA is an acronym for "voltage-controlled amplifier," which is the component at the heart of the circuitry in this type of compressor. A VCA compressor reacts to peaks that are above the user-set threshold. VCA compressors are known for having fast response and are therefore a good choice on peaky, rhythmic or transient-heavy material.

Try to mix songs in ableton with stock plugins with only 1 compresor.... It is posible. Lots of actual songs are maked with ableton compressor and no more... (Not speakimg about mastering process)

Do not twist my words. I never said it wasn't possible. In my younger days before working with clients (2010) as a student in a university, I mixed with many stock plugins as a learning tool.

Compression is an unnatural procedure, which came out of dire need. The early tape recorders just did not have enough dynamic headroom.

About frequently used illusionary psychoacoustic terms:
'Warmth' is the result of presence of entropy (non-harmonics) in sound.
If we exclude EQ-ing, artificial 'softness' is the result of even harmonics saturation (or overdrive) and artificial 'sharpness' is the result of odd harmonics saturation (or overdrive).
Neither has anything to do with compression (but to eventual additional processing). By itself compression can only make sound 'piercing', 'metallic', 'tight' and/or 'shallow'. It's because compression brings dynamically closer sound components with less energy to ones with more energy.

I can't open the keygen on mac. The dmg file does not open and the crossover exe file the same.
How do you get the keygen open?
