the coolest thing is you can press play on the plugin while tweaking it or even browsing through the main presets or section presets, never thought that it can be so useful

I will stay on SA Kick 2. Using it for 6 years now and its alot more advanced.
What this one here is missing is a sub osc to shape the low end by the pitch env.
And also you cannot layer things on top of each other.

For Example you have a transient with some attack that hits at 1k hz BUT then you still feel you missing something on 5-10 khz.

Technically, you could drag out the sample, process the transient the way you want and bring it back in again into the same Kick.

Sure. I don't See Chop Suey as a Kick 2 replacement, as like you said it is a bit more advanced.
But I also like the workflow in this plugin, maybe combine the two. More possibilities, if you know what I mean.

Hey, it's not terrible like the other Sinee VST's. It's not Kick 2, but I also like the workflow. That said, how many variations on a 909 kick can one man use?

I agree with chaindog. This is not kick2 but for me it's simplicity fits my need.
I'm not into spending time designing kicks, so with chop suey workflow I adapt quickly any already good sample I have.

Not really, if you ask me. With nimble you can nicely pitch shift kicks and edit them a little bit. With this you can combine up to 3 different kicks and it makes one 'new' kick for you without a lot of phasing or other issues. As far as I tried, this does do key detection per kick, but not very accurate, nor did I find it would pitch the kick when a different note is played. But to make quick kick edits, this is a very workflow handy tool!
