I'm gonna stay away from R2R Omnisphere. Spectrasonics has been detected all the auth R2R's method.. Also every weekend R2R fix something interesting.. maybe every day I can see Omnisphere new post here... I don't say there's something wrong but Spectrasonics not for R2R.. Will wait for vkDanilov version, I am using Windows via Parallels on MacBook Pro and once I've installed vkDanilov Omnisphere and it's working! I have to locate steam folder without any Authorization etc... I have also version for macos, but windows version stable is only vkDanilov

Oh they find the timebombs and had fixed it so no need to wait for something that might not even turn up.
If R2R WANT to crack something they are the best in the bussines but they have alot to do as they also crack tons of plugins so sometimes they might not find everything but if users just inform them they fix it.

BUT..do you mean.. do.first original 206 install with ISO's and than aply just these 4 updates here now ? Doesn't seems logic because don't you need the latest Patch Library, soundsource library update from R2R ? These files are only Software updates i guess..
And wich one are the latest GOOD ones from R2R ? The FIXED ones from dec 3 ?

Recently did a fresh install of Omnisphere using the 2.5 (2.5.0d) installer.
Applied all patches & updates for that version forward.
Only then, was the keygen run to patch & activate Omnisphere.

For the latest update, removed files mentioned in the included R2R.txt with the exception of the license file (C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\AUDIO16.DAT).
Next, the Omnisphere v2.8.2c update was run.
Launched Omnisphere from the Desktop shortcut & was presented with the normal Omnisphere Power Synth 2 Screen.

All working well. Have not had any issues from version 2.5 onward unless I, forgot to do an index refresh or a needed registry modification.

Steam for for the last 4 years has been on internal NVMe (E:\).
Custom location E:\instruments Libraries\Spectrasonics\STEAM

on first load the black screen means it is writing the preset database file, 3-10minutes depends on system and your library size.

what's the required steps if u wanna move from vkDanilov
version to this? install on top? unistall and do a clean install? do smth else first?

Just install over and try to clean any temp, log and setting files maybe.

I stay away from non R2R released in terms of Spectrasonics.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

Your Studio One is loading an older version of Omnisphere installed somewhere else on your computer. You need to inspect your folders and see where the discrepancy is.

If you're on Windows use a program such as Voidtools Everything and search "Omnisphere.dll" etc. You'll be able to quickly see where the problem is.

More Story :
In our former works (and other groups too!),
we set full 16 capable flgas to activate,
But now, Spectrasonics checks the flags to trigger the timebomb.
We need to care that.
When they release new product, you need to wait the keygen update.



Does this passage mean that R2R is currently unable to successfully get rid of the time bomb in the program?
