Mmmm... I´m gonna try it side by side with my Sonic Projects OBX Pro II and hear what happens.

Edit: Definitely Sonic Projects sounds fatter and richer than this.
I will delete this, same as with The Legend. RIP Synapse.

Obsession is way better than Sonic Projects OP-X PRO-II. It's 2021, wake up.

Both Obsession and Legend are currently one of the most accurate software emulations of their hardware counterparts, and with additional functionality.

You gotta be trolling. Sonicprojects OP-X was made in SynthEdit over 10 years ago and its oscillators sound like shit now. It's not even an accurate emulation. It's just a decent synth with enough features for a sound designer to make convincing Jupiter-8 and OB-X sounds. Honestly even Charlatan, a free synth, has better analog oscillators.

Obsession is highly accurate to the original hardware. So is TAL's Jupiter-8 plugin. But you'd probably say Arturia's Jup-8 is better.

I remember the Reactor version as well, probably have it somewhere.
I quite like this Synapse vsti, I like how you can have variable parameters on every voice. To me its one of the better sounding vsti analogue emulations out there.

Opx sounds good but it doesnt really sound like an Opx-a. Synapse has more depth and character it behaves like the real thing, especially great for scoring music for movies.
This emulation is the only one where i get the Terminator 1 ( synth used for scoring) vibe, dark and sinister.

hollllyy synapse complete is on the horizon. i remember synapse when they were called sonic syndicate. synapse and buro stelkens (now accSone) crusher-x where my weapons of choice (i think paradox last were able to defeat crusher-x). so amazing that R2R bring synapse back, thankk you. memories
