TH-U is the first amp simulator which includes both the amp modeling and capturing technologies.
The Rig Models are created from real setups: the Overloud proprietary technology allows our engineers to capture the response of an entire rig, including the nonlinear and dynamic response of the amplifier, the cabinet, the microphones, the mic preamplifier and the room sound.
The Rig Player, integrated into TH-U, allows you to reproduce any nuance of the sampled rigs and to combine the models of different setups.

This updates includes the Official Jensen IR for the Super Cabinet that was released few days ago, ALL OF THEM. Awesome!

Installation :

1. just reinstall over the previous version.
2. open TH-U VST/VST3 (or standalone)
3. drag the extra content into the VST, 1 content at a time.
4. it will take around 3-5 minutes depending on your system especially the rig-libraries updates because it will replace all the old ones and re-save them all as files in case you want to access it which pretty neat.

well, it depends really, some people like to compare which IR is better, I personally like to combine all those IRs to get a certain sound, in this case some classic fender amp tone, particularly some old Fender Twins, and Bassman that I couldn't afford. Jensen speakers are known to be some good series of some good Twin Reverbs. I have a twin reverb with Eminence speakers that sound good to me, but when I tried a twin with Jensen, it sounds so superior and even the response is difference, while I hope these IRs could replicate it somehow, I believe combining few of other IRs could result in better result than actually miking my amp which im so lazy to do when I'm just putting in some ideas together.

Anyway, not a fan of Gary Moore or the strat and marshall combination (clapton is famous for it, but I like it more when he plays the Les Paul with the bluesbreaker).

This is the sound of strat i like. I believe he uses a Dumble, not sure. Don't really listen to him, but the guitar tone is heaven. FF to min 6:25 where the women will easily take off everything they wear for you.

EDIT : this is the price for that tone anyway

Anyone figure out why some people have problems dragging & dropping the extra content which happened on last release? Had that issue myself, Windows 10, just used winrar, unpacked and copied across manually, but drag n drop is more convenient. Thanks for this.

First, thanks for a great share.
Is there a way to run this as a portable app ?
There is a compatibility issue between this version ( 1.40 as well )
and 1.21 in Windows 7.
Presets created in the old 1.21 environment are showing blank
without any of the models when loaded in 1.40 or 1.42.
Trying to save each state to a new presets is not working as 1.40 and later versions is not loading the modules as they are in a different format.
I have a hundreds of save states ( under BC patch work ) which I use everyday.
Any ideas ? Anyone else with this issue ?
Answers will be welcomed & thanks in advance.

The * means that it doesn't work on legit Pro Tools that you've purchased. You need the older cracked version of Pro Tools 12 for these AAX to work. I use legit Pro Tools, so just use Bluecat's Patchwork when there is an AAX that doesn't work natively.
