Thanks, literally just reverted back to 5.0 because previous 5.1 and 5.2 were causing crashes and couldn't load up old projects in Cubase. Be interested to see if this one is stable.

the 5.2 fixed version didnt fix my 'missing content' crashes since 5.1. It also caused crashes on loading project. 5.0 works fine here but going to try the Danilov version later on.

I copied this new build, vkDanilov, over the previous 6.5.2 [FiXED] and now I'm getting the error "Failed to load "C:\Native Instruments Kontakt Portable\Kontak\x64\ktp651.dll"

The standalone works but not the dll called from within my DAW. Wasn't this issue resolved in this release Native 'Instruments Kontakt 6 v6.5.2 PORTABLE-vkDanilov'?

Any suggestions?

Well if you have a backup of that .cfg file you can fix THAT problem...
But this version works by itself.

You can rename your existing folder and then extract (or 'install") this in its place.
If you have lost all your 'installed' libraries hopefully you have a backup of your previous that has the "Settings.cfg" file.

That version that you linked is not vkDanilov, but Bobdule, at least from what I can say with my knowledge about Kontakt releases. Which is limited by nature of course (the nature of us here not having all the information ;-)).
But I guess they are not one and the same person as vkDanilov releases have always been looking quite different.

Roughly said, from the famous 6.1.1 (first full install after 5.6.5 by R2R) until 6.3.x it was vkDanilov, the releases since then here were by Bobdule, who includes those privacy enabler patches etc.

Talking about the normal full install though, not portable. But from what it looked like, the portables have been parallel to the full installer releases concerning the original release source which had been used to make a portable from it. According to that, this post here is the first portable based on vkDanilov Kontakt since version 6.3.x (I can be wrong though how this happens, in that case forgive me please).

hey, i got the 6.4.1 portable standalone version of kontakt. can anyone explain how i update it with this new version here? do i have to deinstall the old kontakt version? appreciate if anyone can help me out

Hey guys!

I've installed this version and everything seems to work fgreast Portable and as VST inside DAW. Big thanks to @vkDanilove for making this work well with the add-ons Tools

Quick question, I tried to ADD Tina Guo Vol 2 library and I get this message:

" This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed"

Any idea how to work this around please, would really appreciate.

I keep getting the following error when I open the library:
updating registration files, could not update file UserData\Settings.cfg
What am I doing wrong?

New computer, I installed this, but for some reason, it's only picking up the legit libraries (I got Komplete Ultimate). If I load Kontakt.exe from the portable directory, it can see the third party goodies, but when launching it the portable as a VST in Cubase (I have of course set it to scan the portable directory), it only shows the legit libraries!
Any ideas?
