It includes images, so a .txt will not work well.
Often these things are in a Rich Text (.rtf) so that standard windows application "Wordpad" can open them.
You can open in Google docs (and then download as .rtf or .pdf, etc), or some other viewers or convert just for this , but it may be good to have a method to open .doc anyway.

Personally I would have preferred to have the original spectrasonics installers separately, instead of something repacked & coded by unknown source. It just doesn't feel very safe imho

Hi Coconut005,

I really wouldn't embarrass myself with unsafe releases. If you don't want to run the installer (setup,exe) you can unpack it with winrar, winzip or 7zip and (except setup2.exe) copy all the files to the correct folders. And yes, the MEGA-link (https://mega.nz/file/qxdVBS5L#0iO69aXalOlqr-5ceKxrf3uFFyQc8JYCbdiLagMWaKY) is safe.

Sorry bro I mean no offense, I just have trust issues when it's not R2R or other known teams, I can't help it.

I'm not saying that your release isn't safe, all I'm saying is it could have been done in a more "transparent" way, because I just don't see the need to create code to install something that is perfectly installable without it. In the world of warez, usually the less packaged stuff, the better.

So inside the setup.exe, the DLLs go to ProgramData>Spectrasonics>plug-ins>64bit
And to VST2 folder, and the small exes only to ProgramData>Spectrasonics ?

Just asking because I do not know for what reason, I have also a spectrasonics folder in Program Files with a small keyscape.exe, uninstall.exe, icon and .dat files. This is not the case for omnisphere and trilian so maybe I should copy keyscape exe also to program file, or did I mess up previous keyscape installs?

Anyways I do want to thank you for your time and effort, it is very much appreciated :)

i wonder if this release maybe fixes the re-calling patches issues? or were they timebombs? or just the good old patch on newer releases?

I'm wondering about this too. I've avoided using Spectrasonics since noticing that issue in the last updates (Trilian 150d / Omnisphere 264c).

I still have a folder full of Trilian projects with that error. I'll install this and test (out of curiosity) if they open correctly with the updated file. I realize it won't help if it was specifically a saving issue, so I'll test further otherwise.

Also, I could never pinpoint exactly what caused the issue. It seemed to trigger randomly, even from basic modified factory patches. If you have any luck with the updates please let us know.

[EDIT] It definitely doesn't help the previously saved "blank" patches. I'll update in a few days or as soon as I see the issue happen with a new project.

I Just got the blank patch again. I can't figure out what causes it to happen.

All I did was open Trilian, the "Retro Game" patch, recorded a few notes and changed the DAW BPM/Tempo. Saved. Re-Opened the file and it was blank.

I tried several times to reproduce it, but couldn't. I'm starting to think it's random.

Hey! I had the same problem on Mac. I uninstalled everything and cleaned the drive of all files, then reinstalled only I didn't update and left everything on the following versions:

Keyscape Patches v1.3.2d

Quite frankly, I'm hesitant to download and install this update and I probably won't. Hope that will help you?

the keyscape patches is 1.3.2.d (stated in the description, but in the files the folder is

And for some reason, the Keyscape Soundsource Library Update v1.0.3c includes a trilian update inside it. some updates like the Bob Moog Tribute Library Patches 1.4e have been released in 2019. so why are they included in here now.

nearly done all 3 files, so in 2,5h 1,1GB as free user, its good.

(BTW UL i downloaded 2 files at the same time, there is a trick involved.)

I know with Oboom this would have been so much faster, but that way its alright too for me.

So the last version of Omnisphere that works correctly on Windows 7 is 2.6.3c, I guess?
Good. It works just fine. No stupid updates any more then. Spectrasonic updates are PITA anyway. Me happy. Me make music. I've got enough computer maintenance to worry about aside from my computer. It's taking a toll on my nerves.

The word "Patches" often means "fixed" or patched files, so i was confused by this at first:

Perhaps it could be reworded.
"...If you do so, you will need to download the sound libraries separately (not included in this release)."

That seems sufficient. Any need to mention that the libraries include patches?
