Schaack Audio Technology AnalogQ v1.0.6 READ NFO-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 13 Jan 2021 | 9.5MB
AnalogQ allows you to equalize your material the analog way. While most available equalizer plugins suffer from having problems near Nyquist (half sample rate), such as distortion of the EQ shapes, AnalogQ is capable of generating an analog-like frequency response up to Nyquist while even allowing EQ center frequencies up to 30kHz, all without oversampling! The additional Natural Phase mode generates a near-perfect magnitude/phase response at the expense of very low (1ms) latency.

Features:
EQ without conventional problems when approaching Nyquist, realized without oversampling, offering a frequency response following the analog domain model very closely.
Low-latency 'Natural Phase' mode adds quasi perfect phase response additionally to quasi perfect magnitude response.
Pultec-style Boost/Cut Low Shelf, based on simulation of Pultec EQP-1A schematic.
EQ frequencies can be adjusted up to 30kHz (except for Pultec-style Low Shelf).
Integrated highly reactive, customizable Spectrum Analyzer with dual spectrum display for input & output.
Seamlessly resizeable interface.
Low CPU Usage (typically less than 1% on half-decent systems).
High quality 64-bit floating point numbers processing.

AnalogQ is protected by VMProetct. When you load the plugin, AnalogQ
overwrites the NtProtectVirtualMemory function in NTDLL.dll, and swap to the
custom code to disable memory patch attack using VirtualAlloc(Ex). It will
crash when other plugin does same thing after loading AnalogQ. Another
selfish protection.

Those strong protection is not made for plugin system. Never try to hook the
system API from plugin. Never.

R2R rush is still ongoing... it will be sad when this will stop and we go back to "normality" ;)

I'm not going to be sad - I'm going to be busy. Very, very busy.

WOW! Manley! awesome!
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

It kinda reminds of Manley because of those knobs, but it's not a Manley EQ emu. Either way, I trust these guys. This could be good. I'm glad we have a chance to test it! Thank you for another gift R2R!

Manley my ass ...get real. it's a blatant faceplate rip-off, it has nothing to do with Manley. I demoed this, uninstalled in 5 minutes. it leaves so much crap behind after uninstalling, never saw something like that with any other audio soft - and comes to no surprise after what R2R is stating. had to manually delete stuff from the registry. I'd avoid this , very amateurish. it brings nothing to the table - we have tens and tens of better EQs available. some of the even free ...

Haven't tried it yet, but you mentioned the crap that it left behind. I have to recommend RevoUninstaller, if you don't already know about it. Savagely thorough and allows you to choose what gets deleted.

Nice! Have been interested in trying this :) Thanks!

imagine how plugin developers will behave if r2r wasnt there , they will literally do anything they could to make more money At the expenses of legit owners whom dont stand for themselves and accept this shitty situation

Great EQ. I happily paid for this but I’ll probably use R2Rs version as it will probably run better than my legit version just like all the R2R versions of the legit Softube plugins I have. Crazy really.

hey, is it really a Massive Passive emulation ? I tried it, the eq is soooo smooth. will still use it if it's not an emulation. just wanna know.

I’m not sure dude to be honest. I have the UAD Massive Passive but I’ve never put them up against each other and I’ve only used the hardware in one studio ever.

This is not an emulation, this brand make gui inspired by manley stuff, like their transient shaper

Truly disturbing and disgusting behavior by developers and the worst part is that we'd never even know it was happening. I'm sure they like it that way. Thanks R2R and Decibelle for bringing us the tools and the truth.

I think Sylenth v3 also used VMProtect which Dima cracked 2 years ago.
Think of hammer as compression and chisel as eq. You can make great structures with only two.

THIS EQ IS A BEAST

AND THE Transient Shaper FROM THEM IS A MUST HAVE !

Funny...yet another EQ "analog" release that literally nulls with Equalibrium (99.99999% exact match).

https://ibb.co/sHscz7G

FYI, all you need is DMG Equilibrium. It makes almost all other EQs literally redundant. Do your own testing. :) Have fun!

Frequency might need adjusting, or the slope, but it always matches eventually :)

Null test?
They shouldn't have same phase distortion.
And...the 'analog' just represents 'analog filter curve & phase response', you do match them with full digital eq, nothing special.

Well, they do have the same PD. Have fun.

I usually just go with my ears, though I do, obviously, consult analyzers and might toss them into DDMF's nifty little plugin gadget. As far as matching it with EQuilibrium goes, that's not fully unique; you can almost certainly do that with a lot of EQs that are thicc with parametric knob madness. I'm not bashing EQuilibrium, DMG's beast is my go-to workhorse, unless I want distinctly coloured EQ, which isn't uncommon, but I'm betting that a lot of EQs could do the same. Someone is welcome to prove me wrong, though.

huh, they break in VMProtect, interesting. I can see some Image-Line stuff coming (if they ever stop releasing those small updates/bug fixes of course). Thanks R2R and Decibelle
