Cassette Transport is an audio plugin effect that simulates the sound of tape speeding up and slowing down. It also includes noises from the physical buttons and rotor of a real Cassette unit. Perfect for sound design.

Play and stop times can be adjusted independently to a maximum of 8 seconds. This plugin is also able to sync the values to the host tempo. Cassette Transport has been designed to be the perfect companion for Cassette, our vintage tape emulation plugin. Having a transport control was a common request, so we decided to make it available for everyone.

DO NOT waste your time downloading this version. Automation doesn;t work on VST or AU. Without automation functioning this plug is useless. Must wait for update fix.

Not completely useless at all dude. Just record the starting and stopping on to a seperate track. Then edit. Not ideal, but a workaround. We didn't have automation in the early 80s in the studio I started in. We just found workarounds.

The Butcher & Cliquid are correct; it can be mangled into a session, but it doesn't work as it should...which funny to me as the tutorial/promo video clearly shows it working for the guy--does he have the Paid, Platinum Version, or something?

Hmmm would the automation work on VST3 and Win 10 x64? I was planning to DL this at work and mess with it once I get home.

But reading all these comments, so automation doesn't work AT ALL?? No matter your OS or VST/VST3 setting?

The automation only works to Start or Stop, not both--I mangled it into a session with two instances on two identical tracks and did some additional automation and it "works," but it's unnecessarily tedious & dumb. I hit up Wavesfactory to see if they're even aware of it, as the video they put out shows it working flawlessly.

Wow thanks for the reply exact. Sounds like false advertising to me.

Actually realize it's free. So guess it's whatever just so weird that it doesn't work when we both saw it in the video. Maybe their earlier version was functional and this release bugged it. Who knows

Every single function works in Reaper for me. I can automate everything, from start and play to playtime and switch, switches volume, rotor volume etc.
