Thanks I really would have liked this. Seeing the d/l options though there is no point me even trying.

Those sites terminate my d/l at around 70-75% complete. I have managed to successfully d/l just two individual parts to a file in 23 times of trying.

I have cracked SD3 software, but bought the full library on SSD. I'm not sure if I can install this? Is it a software update or a library add-on or both?

One question.

A few years ago, I think, I had downloaded the expansion bfd3, over 100gb, I think, but I can't remember if I had downloaded the toontrack superior drummer 3 stuff.

Anyone willing to download the full SD3 pack, with the entire library, main app, eventually the updates,
Which exact files/packages/releases do we need ? and where can they be found?

Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 need to be installed in sequence. However, as soon as you have installed part 1, you can jump straight to installing the Additional Bleed part.

hi all. i just wondered if SD3 is really better than BFD3. Should I use it? Looks like the library content is huge that's why i ask.

I feel that BFD3 has more nuances and layers. Results in a more natural and richer sound.
But SD3 is not to be despised.

BFD3 is really great ! it feels kinda more "real" to my ears but i use SD3 cause i need faster workflow, i feel that i have to mess with it less (less twiking) in order to achieve a decent guiding point to my mix and in the end i ll have the same result anyway!
BFD3 feel more raw and SD3 a little bit processed to me but at the end of the day its the final result tha counts !
Also in SD3 i like a lot more separate snares and kicks and feel like i have more options !In BFD3 i like very few drum sounds.
Sorry for messed up english and remember, its just my opinion! Everyone has a different taste in things ! Do what feels goo to you ! Have fun

thx for your opinions. i had tested SD2 before and i wasn't as satisfied as i am with BFD3. So i guess i won't change anything for now.

Just a question because everyone names their releases differently: I'm currently using Superior Drummer 3 v3.0.1, I don't need this library update, right?

If you use the factory library it fixes a lot of things in any case

Even if I'm using a more updated version? Do the "basic release" and the updated library names count differently?
I.e. a 6.0 SD3 will always need a 1.0 library update or does it come already updated to?

I find the biggest difference between BFD Fxpansion and Superior Toontrack is the way the Overheads and room mics are managed with the cymbals and high hats.
For Superior Toontrack stuff ( EZ drummer etc) the position of cymbals and hats in relationship to the room mics ambience/ overheads is fixed.
This is good for phase coherency, but is limited for Surround placement .
BFD is far more flexible, but you have to be more conscious when it comes to mixing and phase.

Same here, looking for a fix now.

Ahhhh, simple fix. Just realized Since I already owned EZDrummer and a few EZX's & SDX's I never actually installed the Basic Core Library for Superior, I've just been using the sounds from EZDummer lol. So its possible if you also have other sdx's and such you may have never installed the Core content.

i have a question,

when i take from SD3 library "one" midi file and drop it in my daw,
why i take more midi files ? i grab only one file but it take more as one file...

i think it was after any update to me, but how can i fix it?

Does anyone know if you can copy/paste things from the content folder of this update to successfully update the core lib on Mac?

P.S. Not asking for a Mac version, just wondering if this can be used since it's the only SD3 lib update I've seen. THX
