This "pedal" emulates the sound of the classic Marshall amps of the '80s (JCM800 and similar, "Marshall-Type"). But it seems to me that it's based on the pedal (Marshall too) The Guv'nor, which was exactly that, a pedal version of the JCM800s and so on and so forth. ????????
