PC INSTALL
-------------

1. Unzip the downloaded file
2. If you are running a 64bit system, use the x64 files. If not, the x86 files.
2. Place VST plugin (.dll file) into /Program Files/Common Files/VST/
4. Place Melox Pro App (.exe file) into Program Files Folder
5. Load Melox Pro from any compatible DAW or open the Standalone App
6. Follow the directions on plugin/app in order to install and load samples (required for first load only)

the instructions are unclear and it crashes the daw/standalone when tring to load the samples.

i've gone and completely missed this up. now its saying sample library does not exist. I've deleted it. cleaned my registry, restarted pc, re extracted it and i'm getting the same message. bummer

why couldn't it be just a simple installer

NO need to create any special folders. And no need to use the exe, that's only meant for standalone use.
A) Just pop the VST in the vst folder that your DAW scans. Also temporarily extract the resources.hr1 file on your desktop. You can delete it afterwards.
B) Opening the VST for the first time in your DAW it will ask if you already have extracted the samples from the Resources.hr1 file (included in the zip)
C) Answer NO and it will ask you to show where it can find the hr1 file and follow the rest of the extraction procedure.
D) Open up a new instance of the vst and you're good to go.

Hi there, I already placed the .dll in my VST folder and my DAW (Cubase) found it. I launched the VST; however, I am also having trouble installing the samples properly. Question: how did you extract the resources.hr1 file? Can I use 7-Zip? Would appreciate your reply.

. I just installed this, and I am having the same issue. I missed the step 2 or B, Now every time i open up the VST in my FL Studio or Ableton it always said 'The sample airnoise.ch1 wasnt found' and nowhere it can rectified. I can open the vst but no audio
