You get drums, tailored and tweaked for their proper context. Period. Welcome to the Hard Rock EZX by Bob Rock.

The Hard Rock EZX was recorded at The Warehouse in Vancouver, BC, and comes with two kits, fundamentally different in their individual tones. The custom Gretsch*, with its brittle and direct attack, is ideal for use in more modern productions while the classic three-ply Ludwig*, with its complex, dark and warm timbre, is the perfect choice in mixes of a more vintage and ambient nature. In addition, the EZX includes a broad selection of extra kicks, snares and cymbals, allowing you to mix, match and design your own hybrid kits as you go.

To top off, the Hard Rock EZX features a collection of mix-ready presets encompassing a wide tonal range and mix of styles. Three of the presets were personally engineered and mixed by Bob Rock himself using his own custom samples to layer, saturate and augment the already awesome power in the raw drum tones.

Copy the EZX2_HardRock folder along the path where your libraries are stored (for example, C: \ Program Files \ Toontrack \ EZX)
Copy the Midi folder along the path where your Midi files are stored (for example, C: \ Program Files \ Toontrack \ EZX \ MIDI)

Does not work in EZDrummer 2.1.6 build, ask for authorization. I will not mix R2R and CE-V.R releases. So I stay with the Superior Drummer 3.0.3 for the time being. In other words I will not be able to use Hard Rock Bob Rock.....

Do you know if it has any effect on the EZDrummer 2.1.6 build? I will not screw up that. I will only trust people that has actually tested the EZDrummer 2.1.6 R2R version.

You can install ezdrummer and superior drummer with no issues between them. They are two complete independent programs. SD3 can read and use EZX libraries if you configure the file paths.

Sorry I can't speak for the R2R version but I have legit EZDrummer 2.1.8 installled and it doesn't effect it at all. Of course this EZX won't work in legit EZ2 but I'm probably going to uninstall the legit EZ2 now since SD3 is so much better and EZX's are better to work with in SD3 because you have so much more control over the sound. (Plus the V.R version comes with a lot of extra midi) I always create a system image before installing anything so if something goes bad I reimage and am completely restored with 2 clicks in about 20 minutes.
