For all those who have problems registering, look for machine id in the addictive logs created in the my documents folder and paste in keygen, what happens is that key generator is using wrong machine id, there is a r2r txt explaining this

Yea, this isnt working for me either. I have done some of the process but not got too far.

I created a XLN Audio folder and placed it so that i could have the folder routing /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/ but then when i came to step 2 'install the software', i am stuck cause there is no .dmg for the install.

Please help!

yea, done that and have placed the .vst and .component in the relevant files however when i have done this and opened Ableton, it isnt appearing. There is no dmg file for the install.

Not only that but the keygen is an exe and i have tried a couple of different unzip types (keka and unarchiver) and neither will open this file. totally stuck.

After I install the plugin, Ableton says β€œDS-10 Drum Shaper. component” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. I got the same error for the XLN Retro Color.
I'm working on MacOSX Big Sur 11.6.
Any tips?

On Mac I've done everything correctly, however there is no .dng installer to install the app. When opening the plugin in my DAW there's no guy files because I have not installed the app.
Oh yeah, there is no app file to install.... yeah yeah that's the ticket.
We need the installer app.

Seem to be going around in circles with this installer. i remember last time i used it i got it to work, but it just wont install properly. if i stick the library placer in ProgramData, it will open the GUI but the plugin wont work because it says the file is located in my VST folder, but if i place the library placer in the VST folder, the binarys break and it complains it has no GUI. even if you then put the library placer in Program Data again, it still says it is missing binaries and you have to uninstall it again, only to be stuck at the same spot

Some of these newer R2R cracks are absolutely shit

Can be installed without this DMG file, but you need to create some folders manually. The easiest way is to install the old version of the DS-10 Drum Shape v 1.3, and replace the required folders with the version DS-10 Drum Shape v 1.5.
This is the way:

1.Install DS-10 Drum Shape v1.3 following all instructions

2. Mount DS-10 Drum Shaper.iso from the DS-10 Drum Shape v1.5 and copy and replace the "App" folder to: /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/DS-10 Drum Shaper

3.Delete the old LicensesOI files from v1.3 inside the folder XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses

4.Open folder named β€œXLN_DS10_105_OSX”
copy β€œDS-10 Drum Shaper.componentβ€œ file to:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
copy β€œDS-10 Drum Shaper.vstβ€œ file to:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

5.Open Terminal and run this command:

sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/DS-10\ Drum\ Shaper.component

6. Run and close the software on your Daw

Log file will be created in : (Caution, it's USER dir!)
~/Librery/Logs/DS-10 Drum Shaper Logs
Open latest log file, find ComputerID and Copy.

6.Run our keygen on Windows or Mac

Input/paste ComputerID you found from the log file.
Click "Generate (OSX)", save the license.
Locate and put the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/

Too bad this (last k'd) version for Mac doesn't seem work anymore on my M1 Sequoia. No GUi (grey screen) Anybody now some good alternatives to this fancy plugin? Cheers!
