for anyone who also wants to have the factory presets,
just install the demo installer from the plugin alliance website,
and then copy the VR dll / vst3 over the demo one.
Then you get the presets...

Presets are not missing. The installer puts them into the programdata folder when they belong in the appdata/roaming folder. A simple cut and paste solves the problem

Great update ,
And with abletons vst3 functionality finally implemented in 10.1,
i can confirm that triad is indeed included as vst3 ,
And copying the presets over is a doddle!

I assume you got it all working....
I was able to make it work on a virtual machine under the excellent "vsthost", ( a program to run VST-compatible PlugIns ), but when I run them under legit Komplete or Cubase Pro 10 all I got is a black screen. :-(

EDIT: got it, it was an OpenGL issue.. !!
If anyone got the same problem, here's how to solve :

- Open Windows Explorer.
- Type %APPDATA% into the address bar.
- Find the "Unfiltered Audio" folder.
- Locate every ".uao" file.
- Right-click the file and open it in Notepad.
- Find the option "EnableOpenGL". It should be set to "1".
- Set the option to "0" instead.
- Save and close the file.

Note : Sandman and G8 have no "EnableOpenGL" option to fiddle with..so they stay black.

In my PC this problem is due to the fact that I use the onboard video card, which has very poor drivers...

i have no presets here either for VST2 or VST3
actually, there isn't a VST2 version now i come to look at it...
C:\ProgramData\Unfiltered Audio and C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\UnfilteredAudio\Triad
are empty....

I notice that Factory Presets are greyed out but under User Presets there some presets... have they been switched out from the Factory folder to the User Presets folder maybe somehow?

Ok so I needed a VST2 version which isn't included. Also needed the presets :(

Installed the trial to get the presets and the VST2 .DLL (protected).

Used BeyondCompare to compare the trial VST3 to VR's VST3 and found the 20 or so Hex differences. Used HxD to find those values in VST2 .DLL, changed them to what VR did in their VST3, and viola it works.

Uploaded for anyone who wants and knows where these files should go. Preset folder + the VST2 .DLL that seems to be working fine (at least on my side).

Which ones ? If it's zippy, it may be blocked in your country.
In this case you can use Opera and it's internal VPN to access it again. (thanks to The PiRAT for that tip)
