The latest release in Native Instruments DISCOVERY SERIES focuses on the rich and profoundly influential traditions of West Africa. This KOMPLETE Instrument features a collection of beautifully sampled percussion and melodic instruments, playable individually or as customizable ensembles with highly inspirational pre-programmed patterns. The rhythms of all percussion instruments are also easily editable via the built-in sequencer for instant polyrhythmic groove creation.

This instrument is truly a magnificent addition for producers of contemporary and traditional music.

DISCOVERY SERIES: WEST AFRICA features percussion instruments including djembe, dunun and bells, which can be used in the ensemble. Additionally included are the calabash and krin, which can be used as solo instruments. Pitched instruments recreate the unique melodies of the kora, ngoni, bolon, balafon, and fula flute.

The sounds of each instrument have been carefully sampled in high detail, with the possibility to change between traditional and chromatic scales for pitched instruments. WEST AFRICA is an authentic and easy-to-use tool for producing modern rhythms with timeless traditional sounds

For all users to know, patches are created with Kontakt v.5.4.1.200 ,so that would be required version of application to use.

You can use the trick mentioned by Smoove Groove for Session Horn Pro 1.4 Win only.
"If you're on a Mac and need this, and assuming you have a Wine app or Parallels, extract the files with 7zip, and manually add them to your library.
You just need the .nki files, and the 1.4 versions of the .nkc and .nkr.
All working fine here."
I've been using it with crossover for SH Pro, Vintage Organ, Scarbee Funk Guitarist and West Africa, everything seems OK.

You also need the .xml file from the extracted .exe.
(Edit: no, it actually doesn't need the .xml file.)
It's because Kontakt will fail to add the library, missing the .xml file in Service Center.
For some strange reason, Kontakt 5.6.0 added the library, it can load the patches and when I close Kontakt, a prompt message appears that asks if I want Kontakt to add the library but it happens when the program is already closed, so that's why it doesn't create the .xml file then.
This update installer contain an .xml file.
