Using Wave Central, one can update just drivers for supported hardware. Of course the Waveshells are also updated n the same process.

Just repatch the Waveshells if using the V.R. releases.

There is an apply updates process within the online waves central. You can update and then patch using the current patcher. That may change, but for now that works.

I'll be damned -- it seems like it worked (on the Mac here, macOS Sierra)! Saved me about 11.5 GBs worth of downloading just to update a few measly items. The only caveat is, you need a Waves account (which I already had) and an unblocked Waves Central to do it. So far, it seems like everything works -- and no, CLA Mixhub isn't loading other Waves plugs and I've never used DG or StudioRack, but all the regular plugs and VIs, which is what I really care about, work fine, even in Pro Tools.

And one other thing about waves their customer service sucks ass the studio rack plugin has been crashing Cubase 10 in Mac for 5 months now I've called them about five or six times and email them about three or four times and they still say they're working on it you can't even figure out how to fix their own plugin Studio rack plugin thank you for a Mac release but I'm pretty sure that soundgrid plugins still do not show up in the studio rack plug-in so I won't even download it

I rather have this with a minor update then all those endless 99,9% useless soundpacks train thats comming by every day at audioz.At least this wave software is something usefull. But its still as i said before there are almost no scene releases anymore of triple a Music software.So who ever made this release possible. box out to you.

For those with this error:

Just copy the Waves folder to desktop or another folder outside the container and install from it.

Don't know why, but since the 10 series, I'm missing a bunch of the VSTs. I have pretty much everything in AU, but many of the VSTs are missing no matter how many times I install it. Is there a solution?

Sadly no. It sucks because all the plugins ive used the most are missing and I mostly used the VSTs in many sessions. I might have to back to 9 or something.

You have to put the "Libraries" folder on your desktop before installing it. That might be the issue.
