At the heart of Zone is a powerful parameter sequencer that allows virtually every control to be assigned to and modified by its own independent sequencer lane, with unlimited lanes, each running at their own unique rate and number of steps.

Zone can be played in three distinct modes:
As a feature rich synth with a host of filters, 151 wavetable oscillators with user import, 22 insert FX, powerful mod matrix and much more. With a 32 step note sequencer - allowing pitch, velocity, gate, probability and +/- swing at a variety of rates. Or with infinite note and parameter sequencer lanes, with complex tools and presets for modifying lane behaviour. The sound generation possibilities are virtually limitless.

the synth is very good in many aspect. 1st it has super fast loading speed, and very low memory/cpu load, you can even making music in a cheap surface win tablet, with (almost) limitless instance of synth and built in effect, Zone is the savior of the poor. 2. you can drag the parameter name to sequencer for modulate, easy and clever design. 3. it has many settings at the logo, could disable the velocity its very helpful, its essential for synth. but the synth cant change skin, the window and text is too small, and the sound, its just ok, has unique color itself. but not at the level which I favorite.

Unison voices and FX seem to like eating CPU the most. Oh well, I don't really like having more than 2-4 unison voices, and I don't care much about the internal FX, although these sound alright. It doesn't sound bad, but it also doesn't sound great, IMO. It's inspiring and fun, though.

I am getting a weird bug and wondered if anyone experience the same. When I load a Zone preset, just testing the sound with the computer keyboard right now, the sound does not play. I have to manually move the GUI Window a tough, and then it plays. It never plays straight off the bat: every time I change presets, I have to move the window before it plays.

In fact, just checked, I have the same problem when I change any parameter, so not just changing presets.

Please let me know if you have a similar experience.

I know exactly what u mean i use fl studio on my laptop and dont have a midi always plugged into it, and so what you described happens everytime no matter which synth i use. but its a simple fix: get a midi controller and i think you wont have any problems after that.

So it's a generalised issue with using the computer keyboard to generate sounds in FL Studio. Thanks a lot for the heads up. I am keeping that MIDI keyboard connected from now on.
