Sample import
With Padshop Pro, sound designers and creatives can use their own samples and recordings to fuel Padshop’s granular synthesis engine. Record new sounds in Cubase and drag-and-drop the file directly to Padshop Pro to create your individual sound presets. Own samples can also be imported from the MediaBay or via the convenient import browser into Padshop Pro. WAV and AIF formats with a length of up to ten minutes are supported.

The FXpert
With two additional effects, Padshop Pro covers all you need to create your own spectacular granular synthesis presets.
The Pro version comes with a 3-band parametric EQ for each layer. With a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and a variable Q for the mids, the equalizer lets you increase the clarity and smoothness of your custom presets and gives you the chance to edit the sounds precisely from the first step.

actually just a CE release of something that has been done by V.R long ago. PadShop Pro is only soft eLicenser protected. so date method (which has been used by old eLicenser XT by V.R too) can be used to unlock it.

thus I doubt big things are coming.

How I got it working here on Win 10 and Bitwig (haven't had time to test other DAWs yet)

disabled the network card.
installed the latest Sycrosoft Licence software
installed the plugin. during install it complains about the date: you have to enter a future date. Don't be like me and tired and enter the date backwards or you will have to delete the generated licences and start over. the correct format is YEAR-MONTH-DAY so say 25-12-01
let it do it's thing, then reenable your network card and reboot. yes. REBOOT.
then your DAW should pick up the new plugin and it'll see the generated licence.

if you do have to delete the licences (and you have no others you care about installed) You can go delete "C:\ProgramData\Syncrosoft\SeLicenser.*" and then it's clean.

also, this install will put large sample files inside "C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\CONTENT" (which happens to be my SSD)
I manually moved that folder to another drive and the plugin upon running will complain and let you redirect it.

I think the bigger question is, does the required pre-install of the Syncrosoft licencing software work on a x86 system.

To me it crashes on FL20 64, and also makes me turn off internet to complete some process about e-license

Now tested in FL Studio 20 (R2R latest)

Retrologue also works fine here in FL, Live 10 and Bitwig 2.4 beta (since we have no newer yet)

works just fine. you obviously didn't install elicenser before installing the plugin. you have to download it separately like the included nfo says. the addons will attempt to install an elicensor as well. just cancel those ones

I've been slowly going through all of the presets and not a single one has errored out on me yet. Try following my install info above in the thread. It worked 100% here.
