Unlike the previous releases, these ones seem to have no problem with recalling settings after reopening a session; and no need to open the instance in order for the effect to take effect. Great release.

that gui is ugly lets see if the sound is clean and cpu is low also with near zero latency. if not, this is useless

update* just by opening the plugin it uses 16% theres an insane amount of latency (60,98ms) not good for live purposes. with that alone being said im not even interested in what it sounds like. so yea, it sucks. thanks anyway

Ahhhh.... You stopped just short of HEAVEN because their LA-2A emu sounds really good. I go back and forth from this one and Cakewalk's which I also think sounds really good. I never noticed that the Black Rooster's LA-2A was a CPU hog so I'll have to check that out.

i actually really like their VLA 2A plugin. its really great as well as a few other of their plugins. but this one is a mastering tool plugin and ive heard better than this one. with the nice looks and all!

Yeah... these aren't the most CPU friendly, but they're still very usable. The new addition plugin in the post picture, that is Edelweiss'72, made my CPU scream "aye papi".
The VPRE-73 is alright though, predictably.

If you system can handle it, I recommend.

Based on your comment history, I see you're using a 32 bit operating system. For whatever reason, Team V.R tends to commit less work to the 32 bit versions of their releases, so they tend to not function at a high rate.

All I can tell you, is consider upgrading to 64 bit. It is 2018, almost 2019, after all.

The new plugin has this cold aggressive behavior, and a color that's like being stabbed in the ears with an ice pick. Sounds unnatural even with just subtle gain reduction.

I even got that from hearing it in the video. So if I'm looking for THAT type of sound, I know where to go! HaHa!! I'm here for the VLA-2A, the Blackface, and the VPRE-73. Anything else is just extra gravy on my grilled pork chops.
