Not anymore. It's still an option, but iZotope has their own principal, proprietary DRM called "Product Portal"... Whatever it may be, the teams make quick work of it all the same.

Here's the part where I hem and haw so people don't cry about me attacking a group- Well, gee golly wiz, guy, VR is super great and stuff. They are, like, super awesome and all, and I certainly don't mean to call them not awesome, because they certainly are gods among men, but...Have I licked their buttholes enough? Okay, here were go.

VR has never, not once, released a plugin where the protection was iLok. This is not protected by iLok. iLok is an option with iZotope plugins, and not the only protection. There happens to be another protection that multiple people and groups know how to beat with a simple methodology. R2R, however, the most competent group, does not agree with the methodology in whole, so their iZotope cracks are done differently.

I hope this clears things up for people, and I look forward to lots of anger over the awareness that I must kiss a groups ass before I say anything that can be construed as attacking the group. That is unless I am R2R. Then, I can just mock the living fuck out of VR publicly.

Yes, true. Team VR has never circumvented the iLok protection. But, they've also released a myriad of well cracked plugins, many of which I use consistently without a problem.

Not bashing you or anything. Each release team plays their part, and all have a role in the community.

yeah i don't even think it's worth criticizing what a team cracks or doesn't(or how they do it), unless they release bad cracks that no worky.. then yeah. bash away. so far so good with team VR - i love their stuff! most of it works well without needing to be fully installed(i.e. sandbox install then move over the relevant files) - which works for my weird needs. and i love R2R too! so many priceless gems from both these teams. i praise any person or team gives more free sonic power the people!

This one is RX7 on its own, the other one was the post production bundle thats got a few things thrown in

I would say though this 7 version is more stable so far than version 6 after heavy multiple Batch Processing all day long without any errors.
