FireFly is a modern-style bus compressor with flexible options to optimize your track's transients and stereo image. I really like you, and think you have the full right to comment, but you have to remember that sometimes your opinion can affect others and your comments should be more "professional", I mean saying toy plugin is a bit shameful.

you could say "I don't get anymore those plugins" or, "yay another filter" or "why not doing analog emulations", it is toy to you but others can make with hit the num#1 next worldwide record so give some respect to the company and the developers.

As a developer in C & C++, trust me they sit days and nights for those toys.

Yeah we all saw those videos uad vs antress free plugins
And the free ones sounded equally good as uad.
Even if this head to head was done with uad 1 (as some pointed out and meant uad is better now at version 2 lol) hmm i bet dev of free plugins also got better at coding.

it is true,its a toy for those with less experience they just pull the sound better lever, can you get a good result with a toy?,maybe it will be good enough for some.it can be a confusing art setting compression.

I think a lot of people here have forgotten what it was like when they first started making music. These type of plugin may not be UAD or Slate, but they are graphically simple, the basic concept is there as per its use, and, though it may be very limited in how subtly you can shape/saturate/compress (or whatever the particular plugin does,) it is a starting point for people to hear what these effects are actually doing without having to dive in too deep into what all seems like common sense to veteran audiophiles.
Also, speaking of "too deep," when it comes to companies pawning off low-quality garbage on newer, less discerning members of the music community, Soundspot wouldn't make my list of parasitic companies, you know, the ones that mass produce plastic packs and plugins/VSTis with throwaway features--I'm lookin' at you 2Deep, StudioLinked & Cymatics. (Feel free to blast me on the Cymatics bit; it won't change the fact that it's generic, by-the-numbers packs that are basically a musical version of a cinematic trope....not to be confused with a musical trope.)

Thank you Talula :D! Much appreciate the share! It seems people place way too much emphasis on designer named plug-ins and often pass off simple newcomers as "garbage". There are many freeware plug-ins that can do wonders made by no-namers. The fact of the matter is, a mix is subjective and entirely dependent on the mixer and how well it sounds depends on the musical taste of the listener and their personal preference. From the standpoint of some mixing purists, the final mix can be achieved using nothing but in the box plug-ins or hardware mixing consoles and outboard gear that all these 3rd party plug-ins are completely unnecessary. It would be really nice if people would stop bashing software and just enjoy what you can test for free courtesy of Audioz at the expense of all these hardworking developers...

We can not assume that because this company has this plugin for sale at $8 is not a good one. How many free plugins are around that do their work? There is the other side of the coin, that one pays a lot for a plugin and is not as good as one thought.
