The installer you downloaded comes with three folders:

Mac
STEAM
Windows

If you are a Mac user, open the Mac folder to find the appropriate installer to run.

If you are a Windows user, open the Windows folder to find the appropriate installer to run.

Please run the respective installer directly from within its folder and do not change the folder hierarchy of the Mac, STEAM, and Windows folders. The Mac and Windows installers rely on the folder hierarchy presented in the download to function properly.

This just adds the standalone app. On a mac, If you previously have a working Stylus RMX then you could simply extract the standalone from this share using Pacifist, and it should work from there..

It seems to work very well so far, but when I click the ' Safe-Icon ' (the floppy-disk) on the bottom right hand side , I read : Verson 1.9.8c, not 1.9.8f.
Have I missed something ?

it seems to be the fact that the old plugin was 1.9.8c, this is only an update to add standalone so thinks its an error, if you got standalone omni click get updates and it should say if you are up to date, mine says yes apart from bob moog sound patches

Can someone explain how to install this properly? Because I get several errors. Here's what I did:

Install Stylus RMX 1.9.7d because the info file said that you'll need a full copy already installed (keygen doesn’t work but shouldn't be a problem because the update has also one included)
Create Spectrasonics folder in Users/Username/Library/Application Support
Copy SAGE folder from update otherwise the above installer will not work (error about SAGE folder missing)
Install Stylus RMX Data (gives error about files not found but installer does finish)
Install Stylus RMX Software
Open DAW (Logic 10.4 @ Sierra 10.12.6, will update to High Sierra in a few weeks)
Use Keygen on Windows with Challenge code for Response code (works)
When opening the plug-in:
"Error Missing element on Part 1: Default/< Please Select a Directory/Sound Check.
Can’t find this element. This may be because it is not currently installed on this computer
or has been moved to a different folder."

I installed 1.9.7d first but because the keygen didn't work (I guess OS X related) I skipped the 'open plug-in in DAW first' part. Couldn't find an other version btw and this was almost 5gb so I thought we're good to go. Maybe not?

Nice release, of course, but I wonder what kind of producer still uses pre-made loops to lay his beats. Probably because they're not able to make their own sounds and grooves. Plus, using the REX format has no sense to me anymore (Recycle? In 2018? Come on, guys!). Sampling, warping and chopping in Ableton Live and other soft-samplers is way better. It seems fair Spectrasonics keeps updating it for existing user, but isn't it time maybe to discontinue this product?

Need a new keygen for windows 10. Activation is not permanently, indeed on every restart you need to use it again.
On windows 7 works without any problem.

For me, it works perfectly on Win 10 64 bit
To avoid problems like this, the best is:
After installation or update, do not launch the VST but the stand alone application (run as administrator), introduce the keygen and close, after that you can use the VST normally.
