Gatey Watey is a lightweight but clever gate plugin. Unlike traditional gates, Gatey Watey lets you choose which frequencies get attenuated when the level drops below the threshold, making for a much more natural sounding gate. It works great for getting rid of drum bleed without cutting off your drums, or de-noising electric guitars without cutting off the sustain. Basically, it’s how all gates should work, but for some reason, they don’t.

Really? A gate plugin?

Let’s just be honest here for a minute. It’s really hard to get excited about a gate plugin. Part of the reason I have a hard time getting excited about gates is because they all pretty much seem to do the same thing, with some minor differences between different gates. But that’s why we made Gatey Watey. It stems from the idea that gates, even as a utility, can be much better.
What Sets Gatey Watey Apart from the Zillions of Gates Out There?

Gatey Watey has one feature that we believe every gate should have; frequency selective attenuation. What this means, is that you can tell Gatey Watey to only attenuate the high frequencies (or the low frequencies, if you’re into that sort of thing) when the input drops below the threshold. This turns out to be super powerful when it comes to gating drums, electric guitars, or pretty much anything that requires a gate. For example, if you want to cut the high hat bleed out of a snare without killing the ring of the snare, Gatey Watey is your man. i use the same user name for the new 3 plug-ins .. but if I restart logic they are unregistered again.. all the other from "BDL" keep registered.. any one knows a way to make these 3 new plugin work ?

the activation works fine maybe you are not putting the same name.
also in the text file of R2R says "All Boz plugins share the user name.
When you register with different name, other product will get unregistered

thanks, but i do not have any other bozdigital plugin ,i am using mac and i did both copy paste the names and passes and write it down by letters and characters and even i blocked the host for bozdigital website but did not work.

key dont work because of the past releases the Name switches between releases can some one please look in to past ones and check how the team ask to get activated ?? for now still dont work in mac

For MAC users:

Create a text file named username.txt under the following folder

/Library/Application Support/Boz Digital Labs

and enter the user name you used to register all plugins in the text file, for example:

username.txt <- inside the text file, just enter your username:

Doesn't register, everytime I put in the user name that's fine, then I click to put in the serial and plugin automatically says, "Invalid serial or username entered. Try again." BEFORE I even get a chance to put the serial in.....

all methods don't work for mac users, if you have any other boz digital labs plugins installed (little foot, panipulator etc).

...this doesn't work unfortunately.

can somebody please give an update on this? is there any way to have those plugins work side by side with older BDL releases?

Reviving this old thread with updated info. I came searching for it, so others might as well.

This info provided by Viral_i is correct. But you may have to get a little creative.

What I did was:
Follow his instructions but be sure you create a .txt file not a .rtf. Make sure your text file has the extension after it such as: username.txt.

Then, rather than entering the generated serials for each plug into the plugin itself, instead create a serial.txt file and place only the serial in it. Save it, and place it in the folder for the plugin specific to the plugin you generated the serial for.
you MUST Do this for each plugin that requires a serial.

Check to see if you have more than one Boz folder. In my case I had a "Boz Digital" from my Hoser and HoserXT installs, and "Boz Digital Labs" folder from all other installs. I attempted combining all of the Hoser folders into the main BDL folder and it did not work. The original install paths must remain intact! This means you will need to place another username.txt file into the BD and BDL folders, and individual serial.txt with the correctly generated serial for each plugin, within each plugin folder.
If you do this correctly, it SHOULD work.

I now have all BDL plugs working, including the older plugins that require no authorizations. So this DOES work!
