Repro-1 dives into the past for analogue inspiration, reverently modelling a classic synth. Every detail of the original was captured using component-level modelling technology to create the most authentic model possible. All the subtle characteristics and quirks found in the original are present in Repro-1.

Diva and Repro-1 are working fine. And obviously teams don't know something will bomb in future or not. If they know, they will remove them.

Quite possible, unless VR changed their approach. Urs has analyzed and spoke about VR's last cracking method (few months ago, in a protection related KvR thread) and said he will have to re-think his protection method, which I'm sure he did, considering how long it took him to release Pro 5.
If VR cracked this the same way they did their last U-he batch, then it will surely bomb.

That's the beauty of crackers. Developers try their best to make softwares non crackable. And some creative genius minds cracks them. We have seen V.R failed the first time but they release updates back to back until it's fully cracked. I think they have cracked much harder soft like VPS Avenger. If it bombs, they will release a bomb free update.

I'm quite sure V.R knows how to change the local date to 2025 (or the years leading up to 2025) and then test for bombs...
none of your DAW software should have internet access anyways. use TinyWall and whitelist what you need. Then make IE your default browser and make sure it doesn't have any internet access. So if some program tries to call home via your browser (snitching your machine ID, IP and what software was used with what serial#) by opening a web-page, the information won't get anywhere.
If need be, you can give your DAW local network access (e.g. FLUX PureAnalyzer wont work without it and Bonjour).

so far his ideas are effective and bugs no legal consumers, but elicenser does, so he made clear, no elicenser for u-he plugins.

the ideas are boundless, you could CRC check the plugin dll after some time and then trigger a bomb, this could be in the future when repro is released.
the protection is already distributed over the whole binary, he has this nice little riddles, which will make fun to debug through. Well i will wait a little bit longer for a later beta to check out repro 5.

You can't model every component of the hardware. No CPU can handle that. You have to cut corners and take shortcuts.
