.. #### {HOW TO "INSTALL" THIS PACKAGE WITH USING .CMD FILES SymLink Installer?} Although the following is a long description, the point is simple:
A) SAVE ARRANGEMENTS, delete some folders possibly left over from previous installations;
B) run the symlink command file - SymLink Installer.cmd;
C) specify in DAW the path of scanning VST2 plug-ins (C: \ Program Files (x86) \ VstPlugins),
D) run DAW, scan for new plug-ins, run them and (if required) register.

The stages of the "installation" are indicated in curly brackets.
Explanations (read only if necessary) are highlighted in spoilers (or triple square brackets in the txt file attached to the distribution).

isn't this just a re-pack of previous releases?

When I saw this, I was overjoyed!
Finally someone focused on Audio Damage heavily.

Then I look through the list. And unfortunately, still no MangleVerb.

Bummer

It seems like people who aren't very computer savvy should stay away from this kind of releases. The type who don't know where all the files end up and don't know how to edit registry in Windows. Who barely know how to extract files from the archive and when there's problem ask for help immediately. Who only know how to doubleclick setup.exe, keep clicking, then open your DAW and see if it works. Having said that, yes - these are not perfect and won't work for everyone.

Sorry but that's what regular and official releases are for. No offence, just a warning!

I make my own "easy" setups for a bunch of plugins similar to this, but more complicated to install for a normal user. A bunch of you guys would get completely lost with my "easy" installations. ;) For me it is not complicated at all. It's much easier than installing and registering all the plugins individually!

Thank you so much for these "simple install many plugins" releases!

I think your response is quite rude tbh, no offence of course ;-) I would have no problem installing this, but it is a pretty shabby release, let's be honest...

indigenous Sinewave's comment is not rude, dont misunderstand it. As he says, it's only a warning to members that are not aware enough to use these release:
Sorry but that's what regular and official releases are for. No offence, just a warning!

And that may be important for some of our members.

.. aside from the fact that his message has a "tone" to it... like he's some kind of f'ing genius for being able to install this

If you can't install this, you are retarded... if you CAN?.. then you MAY be of average intelligence... still not necessarily an indicator however.

I'm on Mac generally so I honestly will not be using this.

enjoy the vibes I just created

we already have v.r releases, often followed by a R2R release.
then we have the Working versions... the fix1... fix2.. fix xy...

these are just another versions 99.9% of people don't need. Also, if these were the best way to do things, V.R and R2R would be doing it, right ?

Sinewave is 7000% right. A huge huge % of people here can barely install a mouse driver, let alone mess with system files, registry, etc etc. many don't even know how to display some system folders...
... not even talking about mac users... no offense, but... most mac users will download the app, will go to the kitchen to grab some food... like , eg, an apple, and when they come back, they are expecting their Logic app to display the new plugin.. by miracle. most don't even have an archive app installed, like winrar or others, and never heard about a zip or rar file !

it's like the car mechanic, that can know where the problem is, by simply listening to the noise the engine is making... while me, and most people, we can barely replace a tire, let alone replace a screw or bolt, on the car.

for some people, keygening apps, typing keys and response files, is like breathing. but they don't understand how such easy things can be a nightmare, for those who don't know nothing about it.

are these versions working, at least ? what should someone use this version, instead of using a V.R or R2R release ? what do the cracking teams think about these symlink installs ?

for sure, not for me. maybe it is ok for some, but not for me.
i use Revo installer to see what gets changed during an install, and i use the file manager "Everything", which i can sort by "creation date", and in 5 milliseconds, i can see which files were created, on "c:", as they appear on the top of the list, most recent.

This is a bit long for 2 pesos..... But not sure it worth more than that. Not really useful for other members, more or less repeating what's already been said. And this is again a negative comment form you.

BTW, if you want to debate this symlink installer method, please feel free to participate at the thread existing at AudioSex here (click)

After trying the symlink method of installing vsts, I actually like it.
It's easier to manage things, now that everything can be in one location and just referenced in other places.

Now with this selection, my only gripe is that Mangleverb hasn't been cracked yet for Windows! I'm still hopeful tho.
