Unlimited polyphony, as PolyM's model was considered when released ! Even if it was not true, compared to monophonic synthesisers of these times or to the five or eight voices machines, the 71 voices, each one with its own pulse width modulation, filter, VCA and envelope generator, was clearly a revolution.

Recreating this legendary synthesiser as a virtual analog was a real challenge ! We decided to take up the gauntlet !

A Gem of Pleasure : It took more than two years, analysing, measuring, testing, scratching our heads, but we are proud to now offer you the PolyM, one of the best, if not the best, virtual divided-down based virtual synthesiser out there.

Two Top Octave Divider (T.O.D) oscillators, slightly detuned for an incredible phasing effect and a very special envelope generator are the Heart and the Soul of the PolyM.

The secret of this monster is its hybrid design from an organ like synthesiser and three filter banks, including a 24db ladder filter, driven by a monophonic envelope.

The Sound ! Using divide-down technology offers a particular sound for Chords and Pads you can't find any other way, but that's not all. With that sound, feeding a monophonic zero-delay 24db self-oscillating filter, driven by the keyboard gives you the possibility to play huge Basses or leads as no other synthesiser can do.

But That's not all : Add to this an Acoustic filter bank, a Resonator bank, a Delay, Phaser, Reverb and plenty of modulation possibilities, you can understand why the PolyM gives you so much pleasure when playing it !

i remember reading the r2r nfo, when they said their were particularly proud of defeating the xils-lab apps, as the app uses some clever mix of mcfact (steinberg) and fusion (ilok) along other stuff.

Seeying V.R were also able to crack it, those who think V.R are just a bunch of script kiddies should think better.

A question for those who will download it and also regularly use the V.R releases:

Are most of the V.R releases working flawlessly ? for example, Vengeance Avenger, is their rev.1 still working, no time bombs, etc, 6 weeks after release ?

Because when we read "ok, thanks team V.R, but i will wait for the R2R version...", it shows that many many people still don't trust V.R, still think most of their releases don't work, or think they aren't "good enough", to approach and defeat most copy protections.

Should people start "trusting" V.R., like they do with R2R, and don't be so "picky", when downloading and installing a V.R release ?

ps. R2R also release stuff with problems, missed hidden time bomb, missing files, etc etc... nobody's perfect :)

Cracking VPS Avenger is not a kid's work. V.R is a serious group. R2R always claim they did it better but for me if it works, then it's fine. I don't care about keygens or patches. I like to just install and run. Both teams are great. Hope audioUtopia will come back.

I had an issue with Avenger, it was ok, then all of a sudden it would crash my DAW. As soon as I removed the dll file from the VST folder, it was all fine again. I'll reinstall it again to see if the problem returns, but on first use it seems buggy, but that might even be the program itself?

im on win10x64 ...i open every plugin of xills and i get a crash, or CPU goes to 99%, hanging notes without a sound, Xills 4 gives me wierd noises like low resampleing ...

ok, so i tried it.. and man, what a disappointment.

i tried +90% of the available patches, and there wasn't a single one that i felt 'hey, you use this sound in a track, you have a hit in your hands'

all the patches sounded lifeless, boring, uninspiring, flat.

maybe a few guys will find the vsti is cool... specially those who haven't tried pure gems like Arturia V collection or Strobe 2. but hey, tastes...

if you guys are looking for AN INCREDIBLE SYNTH, with a delicious analog grain&grit, with sounds from analog funky saturated moogy basses to lust, smooth and creamy pads, great arps, strings, bells, etc etc, almost 1000 presets(there are like 15-20 fxb banks, or individual fxp presets), and tons of features,

you should try Gforce Oddity 2 TODAY !

i am sure most people didn't even see this showing up, or simply thought 'ohh, this is another weak vintage synth emulator, with only 50 poorly crafted fx/blips/bass presets'...

guys, wait until you load a bank and start playing with those amazing presets, until you notice you just spent 1 hour and only tried a few sounds. prepare yourself for a huge surprise, with this little vsti.

I love the Arturia plugins but every time I have installed it, it timebombs, so I dont use it any more. Also, it wont work if the library is on an external, or anywhere other than where it gets installed, well, I cant seem to make it work. I tried placing a shortcut to the library but no joy. That trick works for other synths. Shame, because it really is a quality synth.
