"Better" is subjective. I have both and use both for different reasons. I reach for Superior Drummer when I want to get something out quickly and easily with minimal post mixing needed. I reach for BFD when I really want to get detailed about the drums and spend the time building a custom kit. BFD has a lot more unprocessed dry sounds than Superior Drummer which means you have to (well, you get to) spend the time really mixing them properly.

You can achieve great results with either one as long as you know how to use them to the best of your ability. But yeah, I wouldn't say either is better than the other.

Don't know why, but BFD 3.1.2 loves to crash at random times, often just after loading a huge project for a few minutes. Which ends up with me avoiding it more often than I'd like to. Hopefully this update addresses some of those crashes!

Yeah, same (Win 8.1 Reaper x64)

Now I'm getting random missing GUI elements, constant freezing/crashing, missing certain percussion drums, huge latency. Went from semi-unstable to completely unusable. Will have to downgrade.

Reaperx64 here too (Win7). Tried the 32bit bridged as well, same thing.

oh finally a new version. big thanks. one of the old versions used to crash my ableton project and when i went back to re open them they were damaged and could not open anymore and had to remove the plugin to be able to re open them. lol even on the cracked pro tools this vsti was pure ball sack cancer. crashing at loading xD for now it looks like it works fine big thanks again

Yeah, unfortunately FXpansion software has become even more buggy lately, to a point of being unusable, as stability of the software is the most important thing aside from sound. Also, they introduced that stupid, buggy and simply unnecessary software for downloading and authorisation, which is necessary to install if you want to use their products. They keep shooting themselves in the foot IMHO.

If you have a good solid install there should be no problem with anything from FXpansion. Even if i agree its kind of stupid to have a software for authorization i still must say that there is nothing wrong with their software. Havnt had a crash on any of their products i use. Many have problems but its a combination of old installs and and missplaced/not updated files most of the time. Ofc im a legit user and that may have something to do with it..

Possible to use the key gen for Mac? I have legit BFD3, but can’t use it with cracked libraries. I can provide legit OSX versions if someone here has the know how to crack.
